Slay the Spire
Has anyone else been playing this? I haven't played many non-online games lately, but I decided to pick this up and it has definitely been worth it. It's essentially a single player dungeon crawler card game.

The first time I won with Ironclad was with full-on aggro. Getting rid of Defends asap, picking up a bunch of Clashes, and lots of card draw with Battle Trance, Pommel Strike, and Offering. Other good cards for this strat include Armaments+, Headbutt, and even Feed if you can get your hands on it early. And always pick up a Whirlwind if you can find one, that card's bonkers.
I also enjoy the cheesy build of Searing Blow early on and upgrading it at every possible opportunity, keeping a small defense deck/picking exhaust cards to cycle it.
There are a few others that are decently reliable. The starting relic for Ironclad is so good for fast builds.- Klick

I stopped playing for a while, came back and there's more stuff! I'm only on like Ascension 3 with both classes, does it get significantly harder or is it basically the same? I'm having fun, I've had some great decks but I don't know how they compare to the ones posted lately. I'm just waiting for that one dream deck to post here.- Klick

This was an adventure. Got Body Slam and Calipers early on, so I went for a defensive build that never ran out of block and used Body Slams to finish. I thought Ice Cream would be useless when I first got it, but when Whirlwind showed up at the beginning of Act 3, I realized I was never using all of my Energy and it would be a strong backup win condition against Donu and Deca. THREE Impervious was a godsend, so much synergy with Body Slam and Calipers. All in all a great run.
Spoiler: I wonder what the play is here...- Klick

Claw Defect! Early-game I got to bring my deck down to 9 cards including a Claw, so I decided to build towards it. It was awful on the first map with only one Claw, but once I picked up Hologram (and Rebound, which left during the asteroid event) it got a lot more consistent, and it got better exponentially the more support I picked up. Glacier was a life saver. Echo Form was the second boss reward. At first I was skeptical, but it speeds up Claw boosting a ton. Fun deck, I'd like to try it again sometime with more defensive support.Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
