It was my birthday yesterday, soon I'm getting a CD player and good sound system for my car, I have a bunch of friends in classes, I'm getting my driver's licence on Wednesday, and in a week and a half, if all goes to plan, I'm going with two friends on a road trip to Chicago!

Life's generally good.

awesome! life is good. you'll have fun in Chicago, it's a nice town so long as you stay out of the projects. I just burned a few cds on my comp real fast so i can listen to music in school tommorow, that's good.

Chicago is the bestest place on Earth. Hit the new Millenium Park (yes, it's a touch late) and check out Cloud Gate, it's pretty cool. And it puts you in easy walking distance of the loop, Grant Park, and Museum Campus.

Also eat real deep dish pizza, order a hot dog at Portillos and don't tell them to take anything off(you have my permission to ask for no ketchup), and visit all the uber-awesome museums they have there. And say "hi" to the midwest for me.

I have much less homework than DS. ;) Also, while tonight's marching band show stunk, the band members rock. Oh yeah, and I might end up playing keyboard in a blues band. Booyah.

I love my college, I love my course, I love the pals I have here at the college, I love the games and activities I get to play there, and I'm generally looking forward to a fun year.
