Do you realize the irony of this

The very POINT of this is to create a haven for people that aren't active and can now lurk without consequences or repercussions.

(right)

If it's not, if you look at it pragmatically that's gonna be the result

Unless you have the PERFECT playerlist of people that don't post a lot, but are extremely active

I would say the problem of lurking is exacerbated by the ruleset.
why are you here?

there's a middle ground between "lurk all the time" and "spam post 900 pages"

gtfo with your false dichotomy nonsense
Thank you.

gtfo if you're going to be Mr. Negativity, Mulch.

3 games so far?

It was never really a thing. Being distracted by the shiny has always been more appealing.

I mean that it was never a thing in terms of a popular or well-used strategy. People tried using it numerous times, but it was never really a popular thing.

Vig all lurkers kind of was a thing.

There was site meta at the time supporting it. Scum were often in the lurkers. Mostly it was a deterrence thing in practice. You still see people voting or wagoning lurkers to get them to paricipate.

This. This right here.

The personal shit after that, not so much. I don't have a problem with Mulch the player or Mulch the human, but seriously dude, it's way beyond 'take a hint.' Your negativity towards this concept is
unwelcome.

Mastina's Succinct Mafia is in sign-ups. It's kind of a modified Geriatric ruleset.
