I think the answer to this is clear but it's because I am trying to get good reads.

That’s actually not. What made you feel you needed to?
Did you not feel you had a grasp on the content?
Were you looking for something in particular?

It’s kinda odd to reread a game at page 7.
Why are you asking this extensive line of questioning thats really scummy user: MathBlade I don't believe you care about the answers.
VOTE: user: MathBlade
I am attempting to ascertain the why. Right now I am having a hard time piecing your slot together and I figured a question about why you did something would help me to get a bead on you. I still don’t have it yet and for a three headed hydra that’s scaring me.

Also if getting to the core of a user’s motivations is scummy, lock me up and throw away the key. I have 0 intent on changing that.

No no no

You have this all wrong

Page 7 is the best time to reread a game. It's quick and easy rn, so it's super simple and fast to do and you can sound like a hardworking townie for doing it. Wait til 200 pages in and it's a waste of time and a painful experience.
I mean that takes like < 20 minutes for most everyone to do.

It feels like a really odd callout and the why can go a long way towards reading them. 200 pages in yeah it’s brutal but I find it can catch a lot of scum if you can avoid confirmation bias.

You're joking right? Tbh I think I have a better track record finding scum via a coin toss than rereading a game thread.

Nope not joking.

As a rule I try to reread games each night. Sometimes I don’t if I get lazy or frustrated but I have issues with tunneling so it’s something I got told to do to try to limit that.

i can't imagine why you would write "user: Mathblade"
Well user: Yuurei, I am talking this way because this is who I am.
How does your question "How come you write and vote "user: MathBlade" is really silly to the computer, as I am voting who I believe is scum.
The computer thinks that you, user: Yurrei, does not care about the answer to this question and is ultimately really silly.

oh, ok, I suppose that it's not Ursula writing "user: X"

the tone feels different so i guess the "user: X" is a pun from another head

it simply seemed extremely odd if it was Ursula writing it

User: MathBlade, why do you feel the need to "piece your slot together" on page 10. It has been 24 hours since the game has started.
I don't feel the questions you are asking is getting to the core of user: Ursula motivations. These are not questions that advance the gamestate. These are questions that look like you are doing something.

Flavor
"Has anyone been recording what we've been saying?"

"Of course, I decided to do that a long time ago."

"Wow, you seem prepared, this seems like it could come in handy."

"Actually, I was more thinking it'd make a good historical record."

"Yeah, because of how tremendously important this day is!"

"No, more because I wanted proof for future generations of our idiocy."

"Might be worth going over it all the same to see if there's any suspicious activity."

"Define 'suspicious activity'."

"Whatever I don't like."

"Let's use this time a little more productively."

"How can we use it better?"

"Umm...well...think logically? Like, what would a wolf be more likely to do?"

"I know!"

"You do?"

"Yeah! Wolves have good ears and noses, so they are going to try and sniff out who is 'suspicious' and listen closely looking for 'suspicious things'!"

"That's so ridiculous I'm honestly thinking it sounds suspicious."

"SEE?!? WOLF!!!"

"...Is this a joke?"

"...I wish, but I'm pretty sure that's a serious accusation."

"Yep!"

"The logic actually holds merit and I back it up."

"Oh? Do tell."

"Because calling something like that ridiculous honestly stinks."

"WOLF!"

"...Nevermind, I take it back."

"Oh, guess you're not a wolf then."
