This isn't a townbloc. This is purely self-preservation. Do you honestly think everyone who shot already is scum? If not, you seem very happy to not include them into your 'town circle'. If it's a townbloc, you'd be letting people in based off of reads and/or gut. Not having a shot left.

So far random kills seem to have come from town but I feel like Taly's method is objectively better (reads of many > reads of one, notwithstanding playstyles)

I agree that Taly's strategy is a good one, using the vote mechanics to decide on who to kill. Why do you think the kills are coming from town though? It's the perfect spot for scum to hide in, why give them so much credit here?

I am not gonna be giving (detailed) reads yet. The game is simply too big for that, for me. For now, I'm happy doing it as we go according to your strategy and we can begin searching for motivations and scumbehaviour later (if you guys wanna do that now, feel free lol).

Controlling the kills where we want them to go is just a matter of controlling the game better.

On the subject of mod activity, I think we implement a town-rule. Anyone submitting a kill within say 1 hour (at this player level this seems safe) of the mod resolving a kill should be the target of any towns kill.

ie, if you're on and you see someone shoot within an hour of a previous kill being resolved by mod, shoot the person that sent that kill and break any scum cycle that's happening.

Decided to skim and FoS someone who was clearly town to those who have played him most recently, and then took a nose dive until he was already shot to add the last 2 posts.

I stand by my view. Scum have likely been sleeping on their shot. Shooting in the lurkers will force them to come out now, and with the PRICKS intact they will be forced to shoot their own (or their counterparts).

i'm fine with a50 being shot actually. Overexplaining his shooting in a game that (for most players) was a troll game to begin with.
Justifying his shot for being a bad townie is just bad reasoning in a game like this (while it's still this big).

I want people who are scumreading me to reconsider what I said, because I still stand by that:
Overexplaining your motivation in this particular game (where most signed up for memes and shizzle) is a scumtell. Especially early on in this game, there is literally no need for that, and only scum would want to cover up their 'misfire'. If a town was actually interested in discussion and information, they'd talk before shooting. Not while shooting.

willing to shoot in random/screen right now. Seeing how the first BP flipped scum, I'm willing to test the others as well. If the second flips scum too, we will have that information.

Props to those who are treating this like an actual game, but there are still far too many people alive for me to do this properly.

Can we just start shooting all the BP's? There's like 99% chance of hitting scum (or traitor) in there. Did anyone make a list of all BP so far?
If not, i'll get to that tomorrow.

Once listed we can order them from scum to town, and start killing the scumplayers on that list.
