Pretty sure town lost because literally everyone selfishly wanted neighborizer/tracker
(stop playing the PYP X/Y draft selfishly!!! scum doesn't play selfishly, town needs to work together to compensate!)

Mylo did deserve the vig. If you're not playing the game, you're a liability.

Scum was good.
The reason I had Eddie as town so hard is because I assumed he would only want to replace into a townslot this game based on his preference. So I trusted his read on brassherald and just didn't see any evidence otherwise. Had he been in the game from the start I probably would've nulltownread him.
SIMYK was sheeping Eddie.
And yeah I goofed the Taly meta. I backed off of that on D2 but clearly not hard enough.

Tunneling the Janitor was also my bad. I had a profile of them that was straight up incorrect.

But outside of that, Lovebird and Lalendra never should've been lynched. I wish I would've been present enough to defend them harder. Lovebird was one of my strongest townreads all game.

Like it's actually straight up ridiculous that scum got 2/3 PRs while town ended up with
- Cop
- 1-shot Vig
- Neighborizer (a nothing role!)
- Jailkeeper

The setup was scumsided but this is the one setup where the balance is dependent on how well town/scum plays pre-game.

My only goal with 1-shot vig was to remove a liability and bring the town's numbers from evens to odds.

Yeah I figured that out on D2. Made up a tell and it didn't work. Should've nullread you until some indication otherwise.

Everyone else also wants the role is the issue. It's a prisoner's dilemma where the ideal for both of you is picking what your opponent didn't pick. Part of why I went vig.

like you seem to have more charisma as scum because you're more aware of how you're perceived
see if you can coopt that skill for your towngame

They just threw the role picking
Role cop over universal backup was kind of a throw
As was no one picking doc/rb, watcher, or n3 vig
The setup is townsided because it's not difficult to break when there's enough diversity

The picks made this impossible to mechanically solve

Lalendra confirmed Iconeum was a cop
The lylo lynch should have always been either Icon or a potential roleblocker, simyk
Scum wouldn't try for roleblocker at the bottom of the draft

Ircher had the ability to townclear himself

I would've understood Ausuka getting lynched in 5p but you guys could've BoPd Eddie off his bad read on simyk

i take no overarching reputation hit for my inability to read confusing experienced alts who never cast votes over the course of 2 weeks

another note - scum played the draft well
if you solely lynch based on the draft in this setup, you'll win a surprisingly large number of games because scum is bad at subverting expectations
but you have to be willing to take the hit when the scumteam actually has a decent plan
