Infractions

Violators of a rule receive a warning. This lasts two weeks.
If a second identical infraction occurs within that timeframe, violator forfeits their vote for one week.
If a third identical infraction occurs while voteless, violator will be force-replaced.
Identical posts will be deleted, thus don't count towards post totals. Posts with broken tags will have their tags fixed, so don't repost something broken with a fixed tag; that
does
count towards post totals.
Attempts to abuse the system aren't tolerated; moderator discretion applies. I reserve the right to harsher or more lax punishment as I see fit.

There is no way you can be Town and typing the above. None. You are too experienced to post that and believe it.

Day 1 you NEVER lynch an un-countered information claim. Ever. That is the kind of thing you learn in Road to Rome from an IC. In LYLO sure you have to use reason because scum faking a claim to win the game is a viable strategy.

The downside if you are wrong - you lynch a strong Town role before they even get a chance to use their ability or be killed by scum N1. Disaster if you are wrong. Which you clearly were.

The downside if you are right? None. The real Town information role gets a Night to use their ability and then counter potentially netting a two for one on scum or at worst potentially getting you a clear or quasi clear Townie. Worst case the real information role dies overnight and you make scum kill the Town roles.
That is a general rule, not a hard one.
And this game isn’t about PRs it never has been.

Go look at my flipless win rate or F2F where in 10+ years of playing have never missed a vig shot IRL.

I do better when no PRs and if I was wrong it was unlikely he was going to get a check off anyway as the majority of people scumread him.

Moi entered the game and slammed Pine, Math, and Gerry simultaneously as scum(->693). Math rebuked by saying that Gerry was also guilty of being experienced enough not to mindlessly lynch TFL without a counterclaim (scum were pretty shameless about this). Math hit this drum often enough for it to be suspect, probably to prove Math right/Moi wrong (Moi couldn't definitively call Gerry scum). Where have I seen this before, btw? When the dead rodent worships the bus that struck him. Pine got talkative around this time, mainly saying that Hitler did nothing wrong and not to lynch Math.

For the middle part of day 2, Math proceeded to prodge incessantly with the same lynch pool. 710, 744, 792. With Moi gone, Math happily gets involved in a slapfight with Umlaut. It's at this time that the twin kneejerk connection occurred.

Exhibit F - Hyposcum

Nothing about day 2 for Math was about making a decision on Pine/Eevee. Math clearly chose a favourite (eevee), but viewed everything through a lens where Trinity was scum, Trinity must be scum, Trinity should be lynched, oh, and Umlaut too. There was a third option where NOT resolving the claims was possible, which is anti-town, because all one for ones are a good deal for town. Math hypoclaimed on several occasions in futility, seemingly with the aim to make as much noise and uncertainty as possible.

Exhibit G - Man on the ropes

Jingle for me was based on associations with Math to begin with. See how Math caught my eye day 2: weirdo post on Jingle. Clincher: Yes I agree with everything you say, can't elaborate why, but could you please tell me more?

Exhibit H - Inexplicable reads

1. I don't know how Jingle scum told. Certain things sounds like a mystical Trumpian force.

2. No wiser on how Dunnstral can't be scum with Pine.

I've tried to maintain an appropriate level of suspicion of Hiraki despite most of his play saying otherwise to me, but by comparison I say the most damning evidence is otter's read page 12, where he said scum (at the time, gerry hiraki) are pushing a scum wagon [onto wisdom]. Pine asspulled a reason to scumread him (previously a TR). You called him on it too. I'll try to case both of you, but Math has been a leading scumread for me since I touched this game.

By the way, the reason that the setup was scumsided:
Cop JK Goonx3, no daytalk, is a balanced setup as an Open, and has been run before.
As a Closed, that same setup (still lacking daytalk) required a town 1x BP to be balanced.

This game was a semiopen, with scum having announced daytalk; this gave them an edge.

I'd rate Scum's chances at around the 60% mark, give or take 5%: not horrendously scumsided, but still favoring them.

Thus, my warning to the players.

By the way, the "no deadlines, players control prods" mechanic of this game will become an official ruleset I publish once I stop slacking off.

I have plans to use it in my next Mini, and to give players the choice during pregame in the Mini after THAT on whether to use it, or my more standard rules.

If it goes well, I may offer that choice to players in ALL future games of mine.
