vax's reaction to like all of yesterday did feel the most like I think how scum would react to that situation but I'm not confident in him being scum really.

I feel like a lot of people townread playstyles like cheeky b/c she just does so much shit that anything particularly mediocre or bad gets buried under the sheer amount of posting and with that much seemingly random hopping of course it's going to hit a lot of people of both alignments. But I don't really scumread her myself either.

i read through most of vax's iso and a bunch of d2, esp. where vax and cheeky were posting in particular

vax had a lot of good posts d1 where it seemed like he was genuinely trying to figure out why people were reading arc and why alisae & pine thought he was scum and vecna attacking vax didn't feel like it was a bus here: viewtopic.php?p=10150129#p10150129 , but except for vecna never really put any push into getting a scum-person lynched.

cheeky has pushed on I think literally every player in the game at one point or another, and her posts in general I think look more like someone trying to get townread and live through the game. She's been better at eventually getting on scum wagons and scumreading scum (except for Vecna) than Vax has, but she's also got tons of instances where she votes scum and then goes off pushing on someone else for a while and then eventually getting back on when an actual wagon seems like it might go through on them. Literally every scum in the game WAS on her wagon day 1, but that's also exactly when hyung went into his votecount wasting spree - I think scum all piling onto Cheeky there and then making sure everybody knows they're all on their scumbuddy if/when she flips is a pretty reasonable strategy for them there.

I'll fakevote Cheeky for now, but I'd really like people to go over day 2 and day 3 and give their thoughts on it - day 2 in particular was a longer than I remembered and probably had some of the best actual concise content in the entire game to go through, and I'd really like people's thoughts on Vax & Cheeky's play on those days.

Ginngie isn't necessarily conf town but unless someone wants make a case on him I'm not considering lynching him today or tomorrow given that scum don't have a bulletproof when town has a one-shot delayed vig AND scum have a redirector, and scum fakeclaiming BP to save a townie from an easy lynch is very, very unlikely. Esp. when it fits with the rest of the setup we know about pretty damn well imo.

I don't think the BB kill was thaaat bad b/c I sure as hell was never lynching him and there was a possibility he was a 2-shot delayed vig or something like that (scum would esp. be worried about that after reck fakeclaimed 2-shot and then had a 3rd I think) so I can see scum wanting to go ahead and take him out earlier so I don't think it's just cheeky that would go for that. If I got shot n1 that shot makes more sense from cheeky than vax with me townreading hyung for the entire game and pushing on cheeky for a lot of d1, but that's not confirmed to be actually true and a Brian kill I could plausibly see from both of them.

pirate mollie I'm maybe shrugging off as possible scum but she looked town and her voting scum was casual and smooth and didn't feel bussy at all and even arc looked a tiny bit town from her awful, awful posting before she got replaced. And I feel like someone townread her for how like Vecna interacted with her at some point or something like that too but the summary is I'm not voting her today unless someone has a real case for it so I'm not gonna give a shit about it atm

I feel like I've seen mollie town enough to say that it isn't imposssible mollie's scum but all the things mollie's doing atm and even more so the first two days or so when she replaced in definitely feels like things mollie would do as town normally

@cheeky - on vax in my early game post about him and gemerald and north and whoever else it was, that was pretty much my list of people that I had gut town reads on. For vax I think his mutant push had happened by then and I thought that looked like vax-town to me but I don't remember the timeline of events there.

So since you think I'm scum, what do you think of my play d3 where I basically bounced between north & penguin already trying to make people choose between one of them? I feel like most people as scum in that position would have either hopped on reck or actually pushed hard on one of north/penguin instead of just telling people to lynch one or the other.

Cheeky, on every scum wagon in the game that actually went to a lynch, Fire was pretty much THE person who gave it the shove it needed to actually go through and become an actual scum lynch.

This is literally the complete opposite - reck was talking about a townblock right before his 3969:

I already explained it for the most part, like 90+% of it is that I thought it felt like you were pushing on penguin/hyung when you came under pressure or got questioned but seemed to hop away from it whenever you weren't

Like especially d3, you posted a lot of responses to reck and vax about penguin saying stuff like 'lets lynch penguin and unify' and 'im betting on him [penguin] flipping scum' and then hopped onto reck and suggested LLD as scum when people weren't asking you questions anymore
and then got back on once fire said he only wanted one of penguin/Maria that day.

You also posted something really similar to 'let's lynch penguin and then Maria/hyung tomorrow' when the penguin wagon was heating up too and then the day after you had completely forgotten about it and voted vax instead until the wagons had solidified into being one of Maria/Titus (with enough people pushing both that if one flipped town the other would prob just get lynched the next day)

Like going back and looking at it, they're not big a horrible things, but I really think that everyone in the game atm is town except one of you/vax and I'd be shocked if vax made it to LYLO. If north was still in the game I might still be pushing on her tbh, if I take a birds-eye view of everything and pretend I don't know that north is flipped town I think her push on penguin still felt a little soft considering the position she was in at the time and I doubt I'd be scumreading you over her, it's just that in my mind I REALLY don't think anyone else except you/vax is likely scum here and I want to explain my scumread on you more than why vax could be scum when I think everyone can kinda see why that could be already.

But it's so easy for people outside the game to say "oh I knew the answers", especially after the game is done.

And it's so easy for people inside the game to say "oh I didn't care enough" and then make this game less of an accomplishment.

Like... because I never drank a Pumpkin Latte, the survivor was a town role. So I just killed and endgamed 11 straight townies as the only remaining scum alive.

And all that work and effort and skill in navigating is going to be forgotten and was for nothing because who cares the game was bad right

your play was very impressive, but also literally every scum and multiple town didn't wind up playing the game day 1 and I don't think it ever recovered and actually became fun & engaging for most people in the game after that and all the replacements

and I do think it's scumsided but for all the stupid role stuff that town didn't do well we did get a couple role results at least when a solid % of towns playing the same game just get permafucked from Fire's role dying early
