8. If someone is modkilled, their alignment will change to “neutral survivor” and there will be no chance of them winning the game, even if their original faction does so.

10. If a player does not post in the game thread for over 48 hours, they will be prodded. After this prod, they are given a 24 hour grace period to make a post – otherwise I will start searching for a replacement.
    
11. I will keep track of the number of prods given to each player. If a player has received three or more prods, I reserve the right to search for their replacement if their activity does not pick up.
    
12. Please post V/LA notices in-thread at least 24 hours in advance of them starting.
    
13. Game days will be at most 2 weeks long, unless a replacement is required within the last 48 hours of a game day.
    
14. Game nights will last 48 hours.

15. When making votes, please use the vote or bold tags. On the other hand, if it looks vaguely like a vote, I'll count it.
    
16. Unvoting before voting again is not compulsory.
    
17. If one player receives a majority (at least 51%) of votes, they are that day’s lynch and any further voting/unvoting will be futile.
    (Players - including the lynchee - may still comment after majority has been reached and until the mod locks the thread.)
    
18. If a majority of votes is not reached before deadline, there will be no lynch for that day.
    
19. Dead players may make one “bah” post after their death. This may not contain any game relevant information. Once the mod has declared the game over, anybody may start talking in thread again.

i meaned to link the setup design thread here, but it's not modded by me so i'll have to ask implosion

oh by the way, the text of the role pms made it impossible for mafia to use a PR and kill at the same time, severely hobbling projectmatt from doing anything that could potentially turn the game around
it's honestly not clear to me whether mastina intended for that to happen or not, but either way in the future i'd urge predesigned setup threads to be a bit more deliberate and detailed in their discussion of relevant mechanics and rules and so on
this was my mistake, too - i all too readily just jumped into the game with what the NRG people gave me, when maybe I should have thought the setup through before the game started and sought confirmation about stuff implied in role pms

as an example of a clearer flaw in the role pms provided to me, the mafia role pms seemed to technically (as in, if you read the text and didn't think about how mafia normally works) give each member of the faction their own killing ability

all of these issues will probably be resolved once the Normal role pm templates are finished being written up
