Do I REALLY suck? That's up to you to decide.

Retiring from LSG's and Mish Mash, for the most part. If you want to contact me, I suggest going outside and enjoying what the world has to offer, instead.

Definitely DID suck, in the end...Probably.

It does, unfortunately, attach accounts with the same email together, which just means I'm gonna have to make a lot of gmail accounts.

They do. It's a little weird intuitively, you have to make each user their own group, but it seems to function.

how many emails can be forwarded to one account? It may make sense to have a set of mod emails that forward to one game mod email address. Set up 30 or so emails that forward to one and then verify from there?

If it doesn't make you confirm the emails, we could just use fakes and we wouldn't need many Gmail accounts. I would expect it to make mods confirm the emails though, Zetaboards not doing so was weird.

I don't quite understand the question but this might be relevant: all your accounts under one email are forced onto the same password, so if you can log into one you can log into any of them

What I mean is if we set up email accounts: mafiascum1@gmail.,com, mafiascum2@gmail.com, mafiascum3@gmail.com, etc. and had each one forward to mafiascummoderators@gmail.com or something that means we could activate MUCH more easily. We register with all those numbered emails but then activate via the forwarded emails.

It turns out Yahoo has a feature that lets you make a bunch of disposable email accounts that feed into one inbox, it's saving me quite a bit of time. That and google seems to have wised up to using temporary mobile numbers to spam account creation.

AOL has one purpose (for me, at least) and that's spam email use. It's very easy to work with.

Proboards has Zetaboards-style PMs (albeit they look more like forum threads so they're probably considerably less mobile-friendly), so that's a big plus

Proboards also offers group PM chains.
I don't know how that might change the meta, but I assume it would to some degree.

Zetaboards migration starts tonight. So your boards may suddenly be offline or who knows what from now til whenever.

jcink.net may be an option too. PMs are Invisionfree-style, which isn't great, but at a quick glance a lot of the functionality seems to be there.

A few highlights:

View New Posts is easy to find.
You can make the newest PM you receive automatically show up inline with the forum.
Custom BBCode
Icons for each usergroup (tribe badges, anyone?)
HTML customization SEEMS to be reasonably robust.
Some sort of MiniProfile thing can be enabled when an avatar is moused over?

I'll do some more digging in the morning.

EDIT: THERE IS A BUILT-IN ARCADE
AND A STORE/CURRENCY SYSTEM

EDIT2: AAAAAAAAAAAA

Works the same way as IF/Zetaboards. There's no "Select/Deselect All" button in the ACP but other than that it looks fine.

Tbh I missed badges. Loved giving those out for assorted reasons.

I think mods are just staying away from them for some reason, because they definitely existed in Thrones (which was a Zetaboards game). No idea why, they were cool :(
