Definitely interested, but idk about commitment. Also I'm only somewhat familiar with any kind of DnD (I did one PbP a long time ago and I don't remember the version). What kind of time commitment are you expecting from players?

To some extent we should be discussing our character choices to make a group that makes some sense, yes? Or if it doesn’t make sense (like 5 bards) it’s at least knowingly wonky?

I played a bard in my only other game and enjoyed it. I suspect I would enjoy most casters or unique builds (maybe rogue or something?)

I would NOT enjoy any meat-shield type roles, or anything min/maxed

Might choose Monk, not sure yet though. Still love bard, still interested in rogue/cleric. I definitely like the idea of something natural/elements based because of the module. Also gnomes are so cute?? So, definitely possibly gonna be gnome.

Edit: druids and rangers are fascinating tooooo this is too much. My only other experience, we played with pre-made characters. I'm gonna have to like roll dice to pick a class just to make a decision

Leaning now towards ranger & bard. I’ll probably do ranger to try something new. I’d also consider being cleric if no one else wants to be a healer, and I would try Druid to have a pair of druids which sounds fascinating and unique.

After some thought, I definitely want to focus a little more on magic than the ranger allows, and I'm not actually all that in love with having an animal friend.

Anyone else interested in being a healer?

If someone else wants to be healer, I'll be bard/sorcerer. If not, I'll be a healing bard/cleric, or maybe skitter and I can be dual semi-healing bards

I decided to change my character's backstory, so I'll be doing a couple edits to my character sheet. I think I'll also move her to Dnd Beyond, because it looks very useful for maintaining spells and inventory. panzerjager, any character updates?

Also is there any way for me to get one more point in Charisma without changing my race? Point buy maxes out at 15 but 16 (+3) would be so useful for some spells

That DnDBeyond website doesn't allow for Forest Gnomes so I'm keeping things on my pdf, but if anyone ever needs/wants to see images lmk

Yeah I did notice those! I just figured you probably wouldn't be going in an especially healer-y direction, so I thought I probably should. Bards seem to be great at heal/buff/debuff sorts of things, so I don't mind taking my character that direction.

Yeah I have a buff and a debuff for that very reason. If you want to change your spells, skitter feel free! I plan on continuing on this "keep the party strong and the enemies weak" path so if there's a more fun direction for you to go with your magic you should. If you want to be able to heal, though, be my guest! And I'll take one or two more unique spells along the way.
