Please include the role description in ALL non-standard roles. I know that it may be on the same page, but for some variations on Grand Idea, the moderator may not necessarily see the page.

Also, it would be nice for you to do it for standard roles as well.

Serial Day Killer

Instead of killing during the night, you must kill during the day. The kill is resolved immediately, and if you do not submit a kill before a deadline or an elimination occurs, then a kill is randomized out of all players (including yourself.)

Mafia Day Goon

Instead of performing your kill during the night, you perform your kill during the day. If the mafia has roles that can kill during the day and night using the factional kill, then the time the kill is performed is dependent on who performs the kill, and you cannot kill twice a day-night cycle. Otherwise, if the mafia can only kill during the day, they must kill during the day, and your kill is resolved immediately. If in this case you fail to kill before a lynch or deadline, you will randomly kill a living player (including yourself or your teammates.)

Town Ascetic Compulsive Even Night Odd Day Vigilante

On odd days, you must kill during the day, and your kill will be resolved immediately. If you do not submit a kill before deadline or lynch, then a kill is randomized out of all living players (including yourself).

You are also also ascetic which means that all non-killing actions performed on you will fail.

If you are selected to perform the factional kill, the normal night kill will be replaced with poisoning, and your target will die the following night instead.

Day actions resolve at the end of the day phase right before the lynch (or no lynch).

Moderator Notes: Naive on D1, Paranoid on N2, Naive on D3, Sane on N4, Naive on D5. The player should receive "Town N1 D2 N3 D4 N5 Cop" in the role pm and flip as such; however, sanities should only be revealed at the end of the game.

Your vote is worth -1 (meaning you increase the lynch threshold of the person you are voting by 1).

You must vote a player each day (failure to do so will result in your suicide), and you may not use your ability to prevent one of your teammates from being eliminated.

Moderator Note: Vote weight should be accurately reflected in the votecount. The restriction only applies if the player's teammate is actually otherwise hammered.(The role should still function as normal while on a teammate, but if the teammate reaches hammer, the penalties apply.) It is not a full ban on voting a teammate. The penalty for violating the restriction should be Hated status (for rest of the game) for first offense and forced death on subsequent offenses.

(Not the same as a version that Smeagol posted.)

Each night, you may target a player to attempt to gain a clue about their alignment.

If they are aligned with the town, you will receive a message written in
green
from the moderator.
If they are a part of a group!scum faction (cult, mafia, werewolves, aliens, etc.), the result message will be written in
red
.
Otherwise, the result message will be written in
blue
.

If your action fails, you will receive a standard, uncolored "No Result" pm.

Pedit: It is a voting weight modifier in the same vein as doublevoters; the elimination threshold is only changed (temporarily) for the player they are currently voting.

Alien 1-Shot Faction Merger/Recruiter


Once in the game at night, you can choose a player who is not a member of your faction:
- If that player is town-aligned, they get recruited to your faction, Cult-style. They keep any power role they might currently have, or otherwise become a Goon.
- If that player is third-party, they are given a choice: either they can continue with their current win condition (in which case nothing happens and it'll look like your action was roleblocked/Alarmist'ed), or alternatively they can join your faction as a Goon (losing any special powers they may have and their former win condition). They will be aware of the consequences of their choice, except they won't be told which faction they're joining.
- If that player is a member of another groupscum faction, the two factions will be merged into one large groupscum faction. The factional abilities of the two factions will be removed and replaced with those of a typical Mafia or Werewolf faction (i.e. knowledge of all members of the faction and that they share a win condition, a single combined PT for communication within the faction, and one nightkill per night that kills its target and can be aimed at anyone). Likewise, the win condition of every member of the faction will become a simple "You win if everyone outside your faction is dead (or nothing can prevent this) and at least one member of your faction is alive", even if the faction previously used special win conditions.

Each night, choose a player. That player dies, unless protected. If you kill a third party this way, their role changes to Unjester and thus they automatically win (without changing the win conditions of anyone else in the setup or automatically ending the game).

Restrictions: You must hide each night.
Usage: Choose a player to target. Regardless of their alignment, you will hide with them. Actions performed on your target are also performed on you. Any direct actions performed on your slot will fail.
Additional Info: You're on the run from the law! While you are alive, all condemners are trying to eliminate you (they will be assigned a new target if you are nightkilled.) In addition, if you are ever role-investigated (Cop, Role Cop, Gunsmith, etc.), you will immediately commit suicide for being caught.

Most players have one FoS, which they can move around via FoSing and unFoSing in the style of voting. You have four.

To be clear, Doublet Voters have 2 votes worth 1/2 each. Lynch thresholds should count them as possessing one vote, but they should not be rounded. Everything else is explained on the wiki.

Mafia 1-Shot Prince Conditional Compulsive Restricted Regretful Roleblocker

Each night, you must choose one of your fellow mafia buddies to prevent from taking actions that night. You cannot self-target (unless you are the only remaining mafioso in which case the compulsive aspect of your role no longer applies), and you must choose someone who you know to be aligned with you.

If your target dies at night, you will commit suicide. This effect cannot be roleblocked or protected.

You will survive the first elimination attempted on you.

Each night, you must target a player. You may not target the same player twice in a game unless you have targeted everyone else in the game. If you are eliminated due to another role manipulating the elimination mechanic (e.g.: kingmaker but excludes things like doublevoter and hated), the manipulator is killed in addition to your elimination. See also Hero (first paragraph of variants).

Each night, you may verify whether a post is logically true or false. For posts with multiple statements, all sentences must be true for a true result. "Ambiguous" is a valid result if a post consists of subjective statements or is paradoxical (e.g.: "This statement is false," is paradoxical).

You also have a post restriction that will cause you to be immediately modkilled if you break it, no warnings. You may not claim or otherwise hint at your role in any way. Anything that uses info from your role and goes beyond "I think X is scum/town because ~reasons..." (note that "~reasons" here is literal text) is likely to get you modkilled. (You can of course still push cases/white-knight people because of investigative results). Unless directly prompted (with no hinting at it from your end), you may not reference your post-restriction in any way. (To be clear, if you are allowed to reference your posting restriction, you may only confirm you have one, no further detail is allowed.)

During Night 1, you may choose to defect from the town and become a mafia traitor instead. The mafia will be informed of your defecting (but not your exact identity as is typical of mafia traitors); however, you will not be told who the mafia are.

If the game ends day 1, or if you choose not to defect, then you are simply a named townie.

Exception: If and only if only town and aliens remain, and it is 3p LyLo (for town with the assumptions Aliens win a 1v1 endgame and have a kill left, regardless if this is actually true), you may be eliminated.

Pedit: That counts as hinting (if you are purposefully doing it to get people to ask if you have a posting restriction) at the post restriction which is explicitly forbidden. Granted, that falls under moderator discretion.

Edit: Also added a rule to that role that you can only confirm the existence of the posting restriction and not the exact details. I know post restrictions aren't failproof but honestly, it's Grand Idea msfia. The role probably isn't as overpowered as it may seem.

Serial Killer Post-Restricted Lie Detector


Each night, you may verify whether a post is logically true or false. For posts with multiple statements, all sentences must be true for a true result. "Ambiguous" is a valid result if a post consists of subjective statements or is paradoxical (e.g.: "This statement is false," is paradoxical).

You also have a post restriction that will cause you to be immediately modkilled if you break it, no warnings. You may not claim or otherwise hint at your role in any way. Anything that uses info from your role and goes beyond "I think X is scum/town because ~reasons..." (note that "~reasons" here is literal text) is likely to get you modkilled. (You can of course still push cases/white-knight people because of investigative results). Unless directly prompted (with no hinting at it from your end), you may not reference your post-restriction in any way. Each night, you may attempt to learn something about another player that is related to their role. It could be an item, a number, etc. as long as it is relevant to the role or the way the setup was generated.

Mod Notes: Players should learn the page (in Grand Idea mafia w/ 25 posts per page) that the targeted player's role was generated from. For Grandest Idea mafia, it is whatever a player's role card is. It is never their alignment card. Someone with this role for instance would return 247 when targeted.
