I'm playing 3.5 in a group (since most of us are new) and it's enjoyable. I'm reasonably intelligent so I don't think I'd have a hard time picking up 5but I could see where more experienced players might get frustrated with someone that's learning a bit still. Also I think that if the party is TOO BIG the game might be hard to handle? idk.
