I don't think we should lynch mylo, I think he's somewhat lynchbait-y. Although I'm fine with the fact that other people do want to lynch him, because he should step up the content and maybe that will get him to do so.

I was paranoid about guiltylion putting kokichi in his top tier townreads (helping the rep of a partner?), but I like that Kokichi asked about it. I'm still townreading Guilty and teach, I think chickadee has gotten worse over time, while Kokichi has gotten better.

NK15 (and anyone else mostly posting numbers without content): I don't think it's unrealistic to include content underneath your count - everyone else seems (mostly) capable of doing it, and we'll need it to sort alignments, which is roughly equally important to completing the missions, if not more important

I think my fav is still NK15, and barring some amazing post from him today I'm going to cash in some towncred and suggest

NK15 should be the lynch

. I don't want a wide enough lynchpool during the night that scum can coordinate a mislynch without getting caught. This might be a mislynch, but at least then it'll come back to me, rather than vaguely wondering D2 "hmm who coordinated that lynch and who was just following their reads?"

Some reasons why, since it'll probably get asked:
- The way I'm reading the rules, we can't win without finding and voting out all three scum - typical mafia, not a complete-all-assignments thing; NK15 is caring much more about looking like an assignment-participant than playing mafia, and is actively avoiding producing AI content when asked.
- I don't think Pine/Chickadee/Kokichi has more than one scum, based on how similarly they've been treated by the playerlist in general and how they've responded ("you made a mistake!" followed by "lay offfff I'm busy in real life *pout*" and it's possible it's none of them and we've just been distracted from scum by staring at busy-IRL townies making mistakes
-Among lurky low-content players, mylo and randomidget have better reasoning for being lurks, enigma comes across slightly towny imo, and WhyMafia has less support as a lynch (which might actually be scum-indicative but idk we can examine that tomorrow)
- I want to lynch who *I* want to lynch

If it's helpful, part of why it's helpful is that, ideally, scum would be among the first to share, so they can't edit what they wrote to match other players' wills. So, I think teacher and Guilty are towny, but I also think they are both more than capable of faking town for awhile, and I haven't seen the towntell I expected from GuiltyLion. That might just be because this setup is unique, but regardless don't let those two completely coast. Don't get distracted by them, though, if they're consistently pro-town in their play. Other than that, my reads match everything I have said in thread. I have not been notified at this time that I am fortunate (I'm assuming I'd be notified before giving my last will), so don't worry about that. I'm really not liking GuiltyLion at this point. He's throwing everything he can at the wall to see what sticks, and moving to dismiss or discredit anyone who disagrees with him. I really dislike the bullshit cases and the attempts to stifle dissent. I feel like he's pissy that the case on Chickadee doesn't have more traction, like his plan was to jump on any mistake and push it as hostile action.

Dude I so do not have time in my life for this. I run a children's summer camp set to serve almost 1500 kids this year, and I barely have time to play this game once. I do NOT have time to relitigate every post or hold your hand through every point.

Examples using just your last post (PE-898): I have never suggested we lynch everyone who is a burden to the Town, it was a single point not a doctrine. Exaggeration and putting words in my mouth. "All you've contributed is snark" is discrediting, as is suggesting that I'm providing no evidence and not reading the game. As for misrepresentation, you have somehow taken my legitimate suspicion of you for your attack on Chickadee and tried to present it as some kind of character assassination.

Let's add a new one: Whataboutism. Instead of engaging my fairly detailed explanations and points in the body paragraphs of 896, you deflected attention away from my riposte and towards a different topic you wanted to press.

Seriously. I am not going to do this every time, especially with someone who has gone out of his way to single me out, particularly when I feel they're very likely scum.

I think it's still probably true that Guilty is town, upon re-read. If he keeps weirdly surviving every night for the whole game or his actions in later challenges is notably anti-town I'll get more suspicious (part of why I have not liked any challenge so far - neither of them have much room to learn who the traitors are by their challenge play).

So. nsg and lion are town. I'll sheep nsg on mylo like others do until there's more reason to not (from either of them). I'm liking Prof Fridays for his active sorting since replacing in and to a lesser extent I like Pine, too. I think his push back against Guilty isn't necessary as scum, since he could just NK him and brush him off for now. I also have been feeling a little paranoid of Guilty's positioning, so I get that, too. It's possible this is me overthinking an otherwise not very towny slot, though.

That leaves me with Kokichi/chickadee (for reasons stated yesterday I would be surprised if both of these were scum, though not if both were town), Feysal, Enigma, ofrhz. I thought I was townreading enigma last game day, hm. WOW re-read and nsg's points above are actually pretty condemning - except now that I re-read his D2 stuff it's not so bad. I think my scumreads are something like...

Guilty why are you scumreading enigma? Also why can’t you read someone without scumreads? Townreads are helpful too

I'm not like actively scumreading him I think, but I don't feel good about putting him in a townbloc to POE the rest and I kinda already have too many townreads as it stands. I guess the biggest thing is I feel like he's not making any waves, he's kinda riding the general town opinions and none of his content feels especially hard to fake

The problem with townreads is that it's easier to make plausible townreads as scum, because you know that person's town. Occasionally scum will go too far in 'townreading' someone to an implausible degree - what I thought Pine may be doing with Chickadee's slot - but generally it's much easier for me to sift through genuine scumreads vs faked scumreads because scum

that the conclusion they're advocating for is ultimately false, and it shows in how they write arguments to justify it.

Tbh, trying to be town read is pretty easy for this game given the lynch mechanics, so PoE and townblocking is a rather iffy approach until late game where mechanics will be useful for townblocking and PoE.

This is somewhat true, but at the same time if the semi-consensus townbloc (me, Guilty, Nsg, Mylo, maybe one or two others depending on who you ask) is accurate this reads like "Hey stop being a town block "

If this does not ring any bells, it should. This is strikingly similar to how Northsidegal declared a town read on Myloninja, also using meta. See, while I said I believed Northsidegal was town, it is what I wanted to believe. In the back of my mind I wondered, what if she and Myloninja are partners? I dismissed that thought because I did not expect scum to defend their partner like that, and later this was part of why I looked at Myloninja, to solidify my read on them both. But now I see this, scum Northsidegal defending scum Ofrhz after replacing in, doing the very thing I thought she would not do as scum. Add the fact that Ofrhz was mislynched in two of the games Northsidegal was also in, and while neither was her fault I'd expect her to realize Ofrhz is liable to being misread.

the great thing about meta reads when i'm town is that people don't have to take my word for it or even believe me or trust me; they can verify whatever i'm saying for themselves. you'll notice that in that exact game that you quoted nacho did that exactly, calling me out for an unsubstantiated statement ("ofrhz is playing similarly") and talking about how she wasn't actually playing similarly at all.

an easy sort based on the differences between my town and scum game, but compared to me i think mylo is a far easier sort.

So I went and re-read some mylo games and I don't see enough of a difference between town!mylo and scum!mylo to be so certain, and I'd actually lean sucm!mylo after reading his games. Most games that he is town he is low-content but provides some better/deeper thoughts in those rare posts than he has here. I get avoiding lynching mylo for being low content (which seems NAI for him), but I really don't see how you can locktown him here?

I think the ofrhz push on Prof Fridays is worth discussion from everyone, both in terms of read on Prof Fridays and thoughts on ofhrz's case.

ofhrz's points are valid, but I'm not sure that I actually feel like Prof Fridays is scummy. The way he's reversed a few of his reads and candidly replied to pushes on him (992, 1006) feels vaguely town to me - not strong enough to be particularly confident in calling him town but it gives me some doubts about a scumread.

While he did dodge the original question about why Pine's case was convincing, I'm not really convinced that there was an agenda to it. and ofrhz can you explain why 1001 being a 'weird' post makes it more likely to be scum?

While I agree Prof Fridays has been largely towny I don't know why you're defending him here. Like I think his response to me re:Pine was pretty objectively scummy. Maybe I'm reading into this too much but the feeling I'm starting to get about scum is that either 1) they're caught in our collective PoE (this would be nice) or 2) Two or even all three of them are vouching for each other to form a false townblock, and this is what I think 2 would look like.
I also don't like in retrospect how I suggested the idea that maybe someone might be deepwolfing and then later in 1034 you were like "hmmm seems like someone is deepwolfing, maybe it's Irrelephant...?"
All of this to say, I'm still townreading you overall, but I'm convinced enough that you need an eye on you that I'm going to point these things out as I go

I think Chickadee could be a mislynch, but I also still think she could be scum - I'm trying to see both angles of the gamestate here in scum!Chickadee and town!Chickadee world. Don't follow the third question - people who post a lot and show a willingness to argue and throw down generally tend to be harder to lynch and so they are harder mislynch targets if they are town.

Yeah if Pine made any good point it was Guilty's quick turnarounds on multiple players throughout the game. I'm not sure it's necessarily something scum does - it's hard to see the scum motivation in being inconsistent in and of itself (while as town that's easy to do), though maybe if I have time to re-read I can see if he is following the crowd (scummier imo) or leading it (townier imo). At the same time, it's a great way to help scum teammates hide while having something to point to as anti-associative in case of a red flip later. Idk. It's messy either way, which I think overall points to town!Lion, since the case against him is he's this overbearing scum leader who is trying to get a mislynch agenda pushed through.

It didn't seem like that would be possible fypov at the start of the game day, and I especially don't remember much evolution from you regarding Pine. There’s no WIFOM there. The odds are super stacked against us - I don’t recall how to do mathematical combinations, but even without the presence of bad actors, our odds of success are <40%. With a bad guess down, our odds are down to 1/9 (I think). I’m not willing to reduce those odds further by letting someone I don’t trust (in this case all of you) sink our chances further. Continuing reading, the one I'm kinda becoming unsure about is Chickadee. I felt on day 1 she played the sorry/pity card, yeh ok, we bought it then. She knew she was very unlikely to get lynched. The last will just feels a bit ehhhh as she continues to play that card. She said she regrets not pushing her scum reads, then comments on D2 that she doesn't have any reads or feels like sharing them (isn't this how you push scum reads??)

also here's my current updated thoughts

ultimately I don't think NSG making a townread on Mylo being similar to her past scum!townread on scum-partner-ofrhz is strongly indicative - it's a good thing to note and consider if we get late in the game and probability of scum!NSG is much higher, but I think it's more likely NSG makes a meta townread like that as either alignment, is town here, and simply managed to effectively emulate something she'd do as town in that scumgame. However, I also think Feysal coming in with this angle is good evidence for him being town as well.

Third scum is a bit of a mystery, could be someone deep wolfing. I think I'm actually starting to get a liiiiitle bit paranoid of Irrelephant but I don't think that's paranoia worth indulging in until we get some more flips and day phases in. If Chick is town, maybe Prof Fridays, but the push on PF from ofrhz is worth looking further into if we get a ofhrz scumflip.

This will probably dig my grave a bit, but if I was scum I would want to coast through this game (as I'm currently doing now ). They have very little pressure of death and can easily slip under the radar by just counting and not really contributing.

Enigma only gets like one town point for voting Chickadee
I made my case last game day for enigma/chickadee being a realistic scumteam and I mostly stand by it. Bussing is a thing
On the other hand I'll give enigma one more town point for saying that his vote was because of "self-preservation"
I also don't think he says "I want to vote Pine" in his vote if they're the remaining two scum
So it's only one of the two of them (or potentially none but I do happen to think both have played pretty scummy)

Keeping Guilty in my townblock makes the game make the most sense - especially because scum died last night. If enough flips surprised me, I'd turn my head, but for now I think he's still just town

I would be shocked if there was a weird last minute push on me. I feel like if I were voted to be trapped, I would question a decent amount of the game state, so I'm not sure my thoughts would be super valuable, and I've already said a lot about my reads so far. I still think ofhrz is scummy. Chickadee is a good runner-up. Kokichi and Feysal I think are worth looking at for scum. Pine and Enigma have my full support as town. I think Irrelephant and NSG are probably town unless they make it too far, in which case they should be scrutinized heavily. Mylo has been almost completely absent - I would be a fan of putting pressure on him, whether he's town or not, so we can at least get some sense of where he's at and some help if he's town. GL is maybe town but I kinda like trolling him regardless

As a both depressed and anxious person, I would wonder if being trapped would be kinda chill, like I fantasize about being trapped in solitary confinement just having a room to myself and meals delivered to me...but then, I wouldn't get to hangout with my friends really so that'd be pretty sad/depressing. On the flip-side, my anxiety might get outta whack and I'd be low-key freaking out if it was like a not so fun place to be trapped or if I'm trapped with a bunch of hooligans and/or criminals. But maybe they would be my friends? You never know. Maybe I'll spend my time trapped writing my fictionalized memoirs and hold book signings in my new prison. I wonder, if I were like getting my last meal before being executed or something, and I choose to have Taco Bell, would Taco Bell be all over that as a weird PR thing on social media? They're edgy enough that I think they might do something like that. Wouldn't be a bad way to go as a marketing stunt for Taco Bell. I might be a meme for a couple days.

I think it is fair to say everyone on the Chickadee wagon is town. I voted ofhrz because I thought voting him would give the best chance of my town-read, Enigma, surviving. The sudden flip-flopping on Pine seems suspect to me, but I do need to re-evaluate my reads post-lynch (I did soon after it was posted, but I forget a lot of what I had thought).

This is an interesting point. I forgot that it could also be released from a lynch (I wrote mine pretty much exclusively as if I were going to get NK’d). Potentially scummy from Prof Friday’s, since as scum he’d know he’s never the NK? And if I’m right about scum deciding to write wills that make them look towny when they share them the following day, rather than actually help town after death, this would fit right in. Expecting Enigma to die, he sets Ofrhz as scum above Chickadee, and maybe Pine as his partner gets to sit in his townreads with Enigma (who flipped green - confirming Prof’s “good reads”).

Pine/Prof are my fav team if Enigma is town. Not totally settled on that, but I agree with others who have said it’s reasonable that any vote for Chickadee was more likely town

And now we've obviously decided I was right before and this non-consensus lynch actually caught us a Saboteur and we have virtually conftown based off of who voted whom. This is a point defending myself (also note I didn't get on board with the consensus town lynch), as well as questioning both Irrelephant's and GL's leadership.

This is a mildly good point for you being town, except that in general part of why it's towny to not go consensus is because we have a fortunate, which at the time we were arguing about it we didn't yet
But yeah this is true
I mostly just thought D1 we didn't have clear enough ideas about most players' reads, so I took the reigns. I see you no longer scumread me after seeing my vote, but I don't think this is a strong reason to scumread Guilty atm
