I think the question is more what do you hope to get out of the pairing?
Because if its a teaching thing I'd gladly let a new mod into how I balance/run games and the whole process.

But if the intent is more co-modding then that's a different cake.

In that case, yeah, it makes sense. I've done similar before IIRC so I think it works.
