The more I think on it, I'd probably want katsuki alive than fire since I think scum would be more ballsy to go for a quick duel if they have a power they want to get early, but I'm not willing to stake my life on it since I'm still coming to terms with the mechanics, and I know fire (and many others on list) is brash as either alignment anyways.

I have history with fire bringer and tbh I don't think his scum, while katsuki on the hand is a 50/50. If kat flips scum I'm lynching you.

how do you reason it's 50/50?

if you assume there's a lot of scum, say 8/28, and if you were town you'd remove yourself from the equation. so you'd have an 8/27 chance of hitting scum - 71% chance you hit town assuming we have a LOT of scum (almost 30% of players)

@Toog tbh, they are probably ways to gain Scrap/Energon other ways that don't require duels

this is why I disagree so heavily with the random duel, because Fire didn't even try to see how the night plays out before rushing to try and get his power/whatever he wanted to do with this.

unfortunate that the targets aren't necessarily optimal but it's better to get 2 lynches than 1.

@Gamma killing both would mean no-one gets Scrap/Energon which would mean we're potentially missing out on game-changing night actions

I don't think the possibility of a Doc/BG is outlandish and even if I think FB is dumb, he's still very likely a town VI which means his night action could still help at least a little bit

plus, I think it's too early to vote neither since Kats could still possibly be useful during day play

not too optimistic after that first post though.
