@Taly: That's the why. In this game I'm treating brass as I would normally treat N_M, i.e. assume he has a good read on someone he's tunneling.

As for my own reads, I so think both brass and tw are town, and I think one of the FVs/visitor should flip red. Not much more outside that.

OK.. that's a bit less sus than the other way around, but still there's a slight chance (like really really small but existing chance) one pair is scum gambitting (y'know .. like the scum claiming masons kinda gamble). But I'm willing to look elsewhere for now.

This is a BAD post that I’m going parse when I open up on MoI tonight.

To the contrary, I feel good about MoI after that post in particular, but maybe it's more personal than public knowledge. so far, very likely tomorrow because I've been busy on/off the past 2-3 days.

As for you, Taly.. the main problem for me is I don't want to consume/invest too much effort in this game. I came in with a more "let me just chill and have some fun" mentality. I want to work with you (and everyone else who cares to) but I won't be doing my hyper excavation of details and setup speccing (at least not today), and it's hard to convince you of my alignment here if you compare that to most of our previous games (in fact I'd expect you to SR me some based on that abandoned Varsoon game if you're using past personal experiences to read me).

The good news though is there's not a player in this game who hasn't played with me before. The bad news is not all are experienced enough with me. You just need to get your own read and compare it with those who are more likely to peg me right and see if you agree, and if not then why.

But I'll make it even more simple for you.. the reason I'm trying to bait the NK is I am a VT.

Actually, here's a list of the currently alive players (hypothetically assuming each slot is town separately for the purpose of my analysis):

2. MagnaofIllusion: He can't tell if I'm a PR or not from my play, and won't trust anything I say. He may even still harbour some doubts about my alignment.

3. Ausuka*: Won't trust a word I say. More prone to suspect my alignment than not, and assuming I'm confirmed a townie to her she still will have no idea about my role either.

4. brassherald: Has a higher probability of figuring what I'm doing and hence is also much more likely to TR me (correctly)

5. the worst: Even more likely than brass to both TR me and figure out my role, but he will always have a "side note" that reads: Do not 100% trust A50 until he does flip.

7. Gamma Emerald: Upon replacement will tend to TR my play, but the longer I live the more suspicious he will grow. Will have mixed feelings about my role.

8. Skygazer: I am not quite sure I can predict her views and feelings about me at this stage. Not enough mutual background for me to do so.

9. Inferno390: Not sure if he has seen me town-gambitting before, so I'll just group him with Sky for now.

10. Chickadee*: Will SR me regardless. I also tend to SR her often because of her tendency to tunnel me.

11. xyzzy: I "think" he may have an idea here based on having recently modded a game where I was scum, and the contras in play style should be clear (a word of advise: you still need to learn more about me, so sheep tw here)

2- Amendment: It's not that easy to learn how to read me though, so my mere flip won't give you much in the future. Play more frequently with me instead and you may get to learn to gut read me or something.
3- I am conscious of how people read me and why they do, yes. It's always fun to know why someone pops up with TR on you without having to interrogate them and expose both your roles. (Not really applicable in this very game, but it has and will always become handy in many games).
4- It's also fun to know why some people SR me aside from my general playstyle to determine if that's a genuine SR or a scum-driven fake push.
5- I find it a bit surprising that you'd bring this issue up at this precise time. You have 3 lynch candidates (one is you) and I am not even supporting your lynch. The logical in that is that I'm not conftown and it makes no sense for the vigpool to be shaped around my own reads. Personally I believe vig is most effective when used as a second lynch. Every shot in that pool, if town, denies scum a likely mislynch later in the game.

i'm saying that the vigpool is of players the majority read as scum, i.e not based on my own reads. this is because tw, as the vig, will realistically be looking to target players who are currently seen as scummy enough to get a major wagon, and although i want it to, this does not include Skygazer.

OK. But there's a flaw in your conception of how the Vig optimal play is.

Town Vigs do not necessarily shoot the scummiest people. They shoot in the null-scum area. People likely to be wagoned are just going to be wagoned anyway. The Vig should always try to sort the unreadable people who are hard enough to lynch but are still suspected anyway.

The SK though either shoots the towniest people (to keep the town chasing it's tail) or the scummiest (again, keep the town divided by day, and hopefully hit scum who are a threat to himself).

It is a by product of having too much knowledge. The most likely reason to way to be parsing Multiball given how N1 went down is to know that your scum team is undersized and be looking for the other scum.
