Until the day we finally agree cults aren't bastard, I have to resignedly say this game is bastard


Description:
This game is very bastard, considering we have a cult in it. This game is also one of my favorite games to run and has been modified since I originally tried running it because even though its fun IRL (to me and my friends), it needed reworking for forum setting, plus it was eh.

Rolelist:
- 1 Cultist Leader
- 1 Compulsive Cultist Recruiter
- 1 Mason Leader
- 1 Compulsive Mason Recruiter
- 4, 1 Vest Survivors

The following roles in addition to the above may or may not be in play, (the roles that will certainly be in play are bolded):
-
Cult/Mason Citizen

- Cult/Mason 1-Shot Compulsive Cop
- Cult/Mason 1-Shot Compulsive Doctor
- Cult/Mason 1-Shot Compulsive Vigilante

Follow The Leader v2 still has the unique Leader mechanic. How it works is both sides (Mason and Cult) will have a Leader, and if the Leader is hung, well... that ends the game... (much like how hanging the Godfather in Vengeful Mafia ends the game.) Obviously, if you're the Leader, you gotta lead your people, and you can't lead if you're dead.

This game follows a shortened, nightless game-timer of 168 hour deadlines (or 7 IRL days). During the only phase of the game all actions must be submitted otherwise they are randomized. Yes, randomized. This means that if you're vigi and you don't submit, that's bad for you. All PTs are always unlocked until the game is over.

Lynching is no longer mandatory, because it was unfair to Survivors D1 to be hung just because you had to have been hung for the game to progress.
HOWEVER, WITH THAT BEING SAID: D3 onwards you must lynch someone each day, because by that point, Cult and Mason (hopefully) have at least 3 people alive for both sides, meaning the odds of Survivor being hung D3 are really unlikely.

The following extra mechanics are in play:
- Retraining
- Shot for Lynch
- Deathproof Survivor Vests
- Magical Doctors

Spoiler: Mechanics
Retraining:

Once a player has been recruited into the Masonry / Cult, the Recruiter may spend the day retraining the VT into a more useful role. This takes one day, and you may not retrain and recruit on the same phase. You may not retrain someone into being another recruiter, and each role may only be trained once.

Shot for Lynch (v2):

If a Vigilante targets a player during the day, the day ends automatically, and whoever was shot will become the lynch for the day*. This power comes at a cost however: If the vigilante shoots a Survivor or someone on their team, they commit suicide from the guilt at the end of the phase. This is a change from the original mechanic of the recruiter being roleblocked for a night, which was incentive to not retrain for Vigis.

Deathproof Survivor Vest:

At the start of the day, the survivor may put on a vest, rendering them deathproof for the rest of the day. Goddamn Kevlar, preventing someone from being hung...

Magical Doctors:

At the start of the day, the doctor must submit a player name. That player will become deathproof for that day alone. The Doctor may not target the Leader nor themselves.


Rolecards are at the bottom, as well as other mechanical stuff, (just for sake of tags)

*If the player is protected by a Doctor, used a Vest, or is The Leader, they will not die. The day will still end however.

Addendum: Doctors and Survivors are given a 36 hour grace-period to submit their actions. If they fail to submit in this timeframe, their action will be randomized.
If the Recruiter targets the player who is hung, they will randomly recruit someone else instead. Recruiters may also change who they are attempting to recruit / retrain once.

Edit 1: For my sanity, vesting and healing must be submitted at the start of the day.

Yes.

Description:
This game will use cards from Cards Against Humanity to determine your role, in addition to a UPick system for determining roles.

At the start of the game, all players will be sent three White Cards and two Black Cards. The White Card is a role designed from the card itself, and the Black Card is a special ability unique only to that player. Players will be told what their role, alignment, and abilities will be by choosing the White Card. Players are not informed what the Black Card will do until they choose it. Any cards that were not picked will be revealed to all players at the start of the game, in addition to the abilities that card had.

Once per game, a player may discard their Black Card to draw two new White Cards and one Black Card. That player will be given the choice between those three roles.
Their alignment may not change due to taking another White Card however.

All cards discarded in this fashion will still be publicly revealed to all players.

The player discarding is also never mentioned. All discarded cards are revealed in the following format: "(Card name) - (Role/Ability) - (Card Color) was discarded..."

This game is also guaranteed to have at least one anti-town faction composed of two members.

Anything that would be against site-rules (or potentially against site-rules) will not appear, nor will any majorly NSFW cards. Anything that is questionable in nature is still left in the deck at my own discretion.
If I reasonably feel that the card in question would result in a site-ban (or any ban in general), it will not appear.

Description:
Simple old open, uses a Serial Killer in a 9p setup. Both Mafia and SK kill on opposite nights, and once all of one side are dead, they kill every single night. Please read the setup description as well. While fairly simple, please do read it.

In post 357, Creature wrote: Open game but the setup is not told would be a pretty cool idea

Yes

Description:
This game will be a hybrid of a UPick and Grand Idea Mafia. You will be dealt three roles, but you will take only one, and the other two will be revealed.

Spoiler: Read me
Upon signing up, you must PM me two role names,
from the GIM thread, one of which must be town-aligned, and the other must not be town-aligned, and as long as it is before post 6565. Please also send me the post number of your pick.
I don't care what alignment the scum role is, just that it's not town.

Once I have all the picks from everyone, I will randomly draw nine roles from the GIM thread, and randomly assign each player one of these as one of their picks.
Then, I will randomly shuffle your picks, and assign one to you, and put the other in a community pool.
I will then finally shuffle the community pool, and assign a role
that you didn't submit
to you.

Then, once I have assigned three roles to everyone, I will send out the choices to everyone. You will have 24hrs to submit what you want as your role, otherwise I will pick for you. Once I have all the roles, I will finalize the setup, reveal both of the discards, and the game will begin.

Please do note, if the game contains less than two townies, and one mafia/werewolf/alien, the setup will be rerolled, or I will forcibly change your alignment.

Yes. There's a confirmed Cult.
Even though I don't feel Cults are bastard.


Description:
The setup is based off of NewD3, but with a Cult instead of Mafia. It exists, and I'm running it, because chennisden made this remark:

Edit: I thought about this during dinner, but there are compulsive lynches in this setup. If nobody is lynched by deadline, whoever has the most votes is lynched. If there's a tie, whoever had the most votes first is lynched.
