I have a couple of early sugestions for laws/amendments:

1) Change the presidential term to be the same length or twice the length of the senatorial terms. This way we can align it and won't have election days all over the place.

2) Make the senatorial terms longer, maybe a week. 3 days isn't a lot of time to get things done. If we're going to do this, probably keep the presidential term at a week as well.

Also some questions:

1) If by chance no one votes in an election, will the government stay in office?

2) Can people running for office also vote (particularly for themselves)?

3) Is everyone who posts here included in the voter count? Example: Jumble posted but didn't try to register, vote, or make a proposal (yet). Would he be part of a required majority?

That should be enough as long as Holy Scriptures doesn't get 3 more votes, and as long as *cough* we agree that everyone contributing here is a legit voter *cough*.

Everyone running for office should make it clear that they are so that we don't have to include the entire thread in Borda Count voting.

I, for one, plan to run for Senate if this passes.
