okay so my wife and I are getting a Switch later this month and can only afford one game until late next month. First game for the two of us? Suggestions = go

Obviously on my radar, but is the two-player actually fun?

Snipperclips does look fun! Probably won’t be our first purchase but maybe second or third!

We’re definitely looking for something we can play together. Maybe Mario Odyssey would work, since she’s a bit more casual than me?

I know we’d both like Mario Kart, but I’m worried about it getting boring/repetitive too fast. Anything unique about this version in that regard?

Donkey Kong! Fun! Haven’t played a DK game in years. On the list of options for sure.

Strategy isn’t her thing (though I’ll probably get Rabbids for myself at some point)

So we got Snipperclips and Mario Robbids Kingdom Battle, which was on sale where/when we bought the Switch. She liked Kingdom Battle more than I expected but we're somewhat disappointed by the limitations of co-op (single player has to be completed to a certain extent to unlock each set of co-op levels). Snipperclips is hilarious! We're getting Overcooked next month.

Thanks for suggestions! We're pumped for Mario Party this fall, too.
