Inearly evade the goblins counterstroke, but stumbles, falling INTO the goblin and taking a deep gash along my side. I grit my teeth and draw my dagger, attempting two quick stabs into his torso!

Otherwise, the target loses an amount of HP equal to the difference between the two.
2) If a monster's hitpoints reaches zero or less, the monster dies and experience is awarded.
3) If a player's hitpoints that was above 1 HP before the attack drops to 1 HP or lower after an attack, they are left with 1 HP.
4) If a player sustains damage at 1 HP, they die. If they reached a checkpoint level, they can re /in at that level. Otherwise, they must re-/in as a level one character. (Note: You cannot revive until after the current battle finishes.)
5) Spells require a separate defense roll from normal attacks (if applicable).
6) At the end of a battle (unless otherwise specified), all players with 1 HP regain 1 HP, and all players that have died may revive at the last checkpoint level they reached.
7) If after 24 hours, everyone who has attacked in the current battle is dead or unconscious, the battle ends, and players may revive.
Teamwork Mechanic and Other Timing Issues:

1) Players can team up and attack the same enemy provided they do so within 5 minutes. By doing this, players combine their rolls. The enemy can only make one defense roll against the combined attack.
2) Teaming-up only applies to normal attacks and skills. Spells (if they do not bypass defense rolls) cannot utilize the team-up mechanic to combine damage against a single defense roll (a separate roll is made for each spell).
3) At the end of the five minutes, all the opposing enemies take their move (which is resolved after resolving the players' actions.)

Special Rules:

Level 21) You can now cast magic! To cast spells, you must have MP (Mana Points) available. The cost of each spell is listed in parenthesis after each spell. MP is fully restored when you level up or after 5 battles, whichever comes first.
2) Magic spell "Fire" : Deals 1d3 damage and ignores the enemy's defenses. (1 Mana)

Valid question.

If multiple enemies are around I'd think the attack could/should be redirected elsewhere. Perhaps we should present multiple targets if we're attacking in a group?

1d6=3.5 average damage*4=14 average damage-2.5(average roll of 1d4) for 11.5 damage, so we need 5 people to have killing him, and not leaving him at 1, be an expected outcome, in one turn. Yes we have some 1d8's, so maybe 4 would be okay, but 4 hp me wouldn't want to risk it. :D

HI all.

So this next attack we need to have someone use "fire" on Yrron. He's at 1 HP, and that should guarantee his death. He's gonna get at least one attack off before he dies though, so the person who cast's fire should preferably be high enough health to have a good chance of living. I have no problem doing it if not though. :P

Everything else is us either healing low health people or attack Xana, who has 16 hp and an abilty to stun us and who take 0 damage no matter how many attacks we use on him 25% of the time and who can hurt everryone who uses an attack on them. :)

So, right now, we have initiative. If we want to take further attacks, people should arrange another set of attacks together, to at least test enemy defenses/get some damage on them, but try to do it as a group ideally. I"d also recommend McMenno use Tornado or Berserk Lunge to stun one or two of them. :)

So, minimum tentative plan:
This round, 2 level 4's Cure TW and MCMenno. Invisibly and myself attack Dieron
Sparkles and at least one other individual attacks Claron

I think people that aren't me need to plan things. :D
Because I'm super busy this weekend
and will not be planning things. ^^
There are some general points everyone needs to remember though
Dieron needs to be stunned every odd round. That's this round, and every round after. Only mcMenno and myself can stun him. I can stun him two more times(once more with tornado, and once more with the berserk lunge), and McMenno can also stun him 2 more times
with the same resources
Claron can do lots of damage, and we need tob e wary of that
and Claron can't be targeted by more than two people per round or else all the actions get wasted
I think those are the most important points, really
I think McMenno and myself should also alternate on the CC on Dieron
so we can maximize how long we can do it for
alright

I think this sequence should keep him stun locked a large percentage of the time. Replace the final attack in any sequence with Stunning with a second stun if the damage roll is low.

Requires at least 2 level 5's in each group, preferably 3. "Attack' can be replaced with healing if it becomes necessary. I recommend putting in a new set of 3 each cycle.

James, if you could attack, and then TW will go for the Berserk Lunge. That way you have the damage from both your attacks to break his defense and stun him again.

6 health, and a max of 7 he can roll on defense. Attack then double slash if the attack did enough damage that your first double slash hit will trigger the grace, so the second just kills him? I think that's optimal.

I think double slash is worth it here now? just need 2 damage to drop him to 1 hp, so teh second hit would kill. So yeah. Gamma, double slash and he's dead for the first time. Then all his debuffs will wear off(which they were going to do anyways), and he'll have a round of actions.
