There are a handful of users who check this thread religiously. I'm glad that they do. It is a good thing. The problem is that when this thread becomes a shitposting thread for those users, it becomes a thread in which almost no one else wants to participate. No offense to all of you lovelies who frequent this thread, but you're a pretty small slice of the site.

Ur only participants are shitposters. In fact those participants are about half maybe a 3rd of MS’ population.

If u expand the population of the site then the population of the title fairy thread takes care of itself.

Assuming I've the authorization to do so, yes; open to suggestions there.

Is there a list of them somewhere with the post count thresholds?

They don't seem to have a logical progression, just random mafia roles.

they kind of all make sense.
Watcher is someone who doesn't get involved but watches the action to see if they get involved.
Ninja is reference to being quick on things like when someone posts when ur just about to posts.
Mafia Scum is just iconic, and the build up is to mafia scum. Someone can explain the townie, goon build-up better then I could, but it definitely makes sense in my eyes.
Jack of All Trades is a weird one to me but I'll figure out eventually.
Survivor is the end goal.

Now, I would like to see a 20,000 post title, or survivor moved to that and something to mark 10,000 due to the fact that 23 individuals made it past the 20k mark, and the whole first page of the members list if you sort by post is people who reached 10k
And its only growing.

actually figuring out what JOAT is, I guess you could say there's a new way to see them

going from townie to the very beginning, to survior being the very end

JOAT is the peak, as if they're a celebrity, known for a variety of tricks.

However the only thing the roles are missing is the fall
10k should suit that perfectly
then 20k and above should be survivor, the title about the legacy that individual leaves, because quite frankly, they've seen it all.

They're not particularly bad I guess, just the middle 3 of Townie, Goon, Mafia Scum is a bit weird.

you aren't suddenly a star, it takes work and effort to get there

Capo makes no sense with the theme of the titles.
The titles are based on mafia roles (except for mafia scum), and Capo makes no sense in that context.

Alternatively, have the title council thread elect an actual title council of say 5 people, or 4+Mastina. Anyone can nom it anti, but only the council members count. Simple majority for titles. Re-elect weekly while the event is running

Have title counsel be where noms are instantly accepted, the user can still reject the title if they wish. Have titles follow site rules. That would be more fun then the anti-nom fest that was this one.

Anti-noming everything was fun until I was getting specifically targeted

Also the event was just extremely abusable, I actually think me doing that will actually lead to a (hopefully) better event.

The forrestal fire and associated hundreds of deaths lead to the forming of the Damage Controlman rate and mandatory firefighting training for all navy personnel.

The loss of the thresher submarine and all crew, civilian government employees, contractors, and equipment onboard during routine sea trials due to condensation freezing a valve open led to the SUBSAFE programs.

The loss of multiple contractors and navy personnel onboard a nuclear aircraft carrier when they used the wrong material for a screw that then snapped when the primary-side steam system was lit up and filled with irradiated steam led to the quality assurance programs.



All these programs are good things.
None of those horrors are.


Being a dick to show a flaw in a system doesnt make you less of a dick. But thanks for making us realize the system was susceptible to dicks.
