I've only played a couple times with him and have no personal gauge of his skill, but have also heard he is very good and can easily be townread as scum. I don't necessarily want to decide this on his ability though. I want to decide if this is really the right decision to be making today.

well, the thing is, the quest yesterday didnt give a cop on alchemist. the quest prize was actually a one-time watcher. so far, except for day 1 my quest prizes so far have been some protective role of some sort.

i thought it would be cool if i could bait a kill onto a specific person by the scum and watch them; if that person died, i'd see the killer. if that person didn't die, he's probably scum, and, uh, i'd claim the cop thing today as a guilty on that person.

it was a gambit that paid off. the mafia couldn't stand for alchemist being conftown (since they know his alignment and what the result would be) and killed him. they wouldn't kill me either, because i said that the result would go to a random player, which means that they were forced to target alchemist only, to stop the cop result, instead of choosing one of alchemist/me.

also, this points towards ETL being shot day 1 for the no-kill on that day. scum probably tried the same thing. cool that ETLslot had a BP.

1) his 2 claims to "towniness" are basically "i double bussed projectmatt and mariaR" and effort = towny. these can be debunked by the following counterarguments:
1a) "double bussing" both burdensome teammates who are of a lower caliber to mastina is definitely within mastina's scumrange
1b) town would actually be apathetic here. who else would put in so much effort except lone wolf scum who is trying their best to solo the game? and beat a good-tier town with the likes of RC and ETL as a bonus? in this case here all the effort punreader is putting in is actually scummy instead of towny.

2) his hider claim is a very convenient claim for scum, if he is for example an ascetic (roleblocker). it explains very well why he cannot be targeted by abilities and also why he isn't dying despite playing so 'towny'.

3) the nightkills have been very systematic and methodical. kill conftowns -> kill strongest players -> leave 'weaker'/scummy players in the game. very safe, very professional. i think mastina could be doing this.

That the reasons she's suspicious for me aren't indicative of alignment because they happen literally every game. (Including in mhsmith's game; the number of promises I broke there is quite high.)

As a result, she's a candidate for being pun taking a more arbiter stance.

I should mention that I have a large bias here.

One of the main reasons Ankamius has, consistently, been the VT I've most townread is because of her play in a recent pungame, Minuet's Trio. I felt her comments there, found here and here, indicated that to be her main experience with being pun since returning from hiatus.

Additional reasoning for believing her to be town was how there was a point in the game where our reads were almost

precisely

linked, for similar and yet not identical reasoning. Her stances having been mirrors of my own was an indicator I believed pointed to her being town.

Counterbalancing this, however, is the aforementioned factors above, where she isn't treating me the way I feel she

should

be. Additionally, it did not escape my notice that near the end when projectmatt was at risk of death more seriously, she had what amounted to a flip-out and almost entire read-inversion, where she did essentially everything except advocate for his lynch in spite of previously having done so.

One of the main reasons I wish to get a (re)read of the game is to check that section out again to better define what it means.

so why give special attention to Ankamius instead of Dunnstral who was literally in the same game, and evidently mislynch bait, getting noosed Day 4? because Ankamius was your teammate? Or you don't like Dunnstral very much? hmm? or maybe you're trying to pocket Ankamius and Me, to bring us to endgame while Dunnstral is mislynchable on the table for your path to victory? hmm!

I have felt doubt on her alignment because she has reversed on the correct pushes at the most inopportune times.
I have felt doubt on her alignment because her reasons for doubting me, for suspecting me, are based around factors she knows from personal experience are not alignment indicative, and quite the opposite, if anything are indicative of town. (Namely, she has seen me do the exact things I am doing this game in mhsmith's game, where she knows I was town.)

The only thing that gives me pause here is that I think Alchemist21 isn't someone you'd exactly be chomping at the bit to kill night 6 (over myself and REALMEN at least, I know you are well aware I can completely solve the game out of nowhere in LyLo or the day before). So you have your shield intact along with your bussing towncred, most of the slots that could see through it are dead, and the slots that are left alive are the ones that were apathetic for most of the game and likely to go wherever the momentum of the day went, giving you options of where you want to push.

Alchemist was killed last night because he was going to become conftown due to successful activation of my quest (his alignment would be sent to a random player in the game) and mastina could not let that happen.

while YT and Prof Fridays played an excellent game, and certainly deserve a win, it was purely my fault for why town lost the game.

gut was screaming to lynch Fridays, but i was afraid that would result in a major laughably comedic throw if Dunnstral was indeed scum (and it was indeed that easy), and then i'd be lynched postgame too

thus, in a cruel twist of irony, i lost the game for you guys because I was NOT a REAL MAN.

because of this, i deserve to have my testicles violently ripped out from between my legs, chopped into minuscule pieces with a butcher's cleaver, fried in a mixture of acid and olive oil, then fed to pigs, which are probably more MANLY than I am.

but it was commendable that all 3 players Ramcius, YT and Prof played really well. by far, the most suspicious player in that slot itself was Ramcius, and HE was the one doing all that distancing work. yikes
