Some of the design ideas behind the setup:

I like making setups where power is distributed thinly, with some weakening modifiers to most of the heavy hitters. That shows in both scum and town. The tracker power is split among two people, for example. T-Bone was the first role I designed and one of my favorites. I also like having roles that do nothing but introduce a bit of minor chaos (that way there's a sense of "oh, this is a unique role" but for balance it can end up throwing a wrench in any faction), and that lends itself sometimes to some fun synergies. In this case, Nahdia, for example.

The numbers and generally weak town necessitated a weak scum. Equinox's purpose is essentially to protect SleepyKrew if BPC decides to kill him, but the options are left open for other potential uses. Skrew and Chevre are generally weak roles and EP's powers are gated awkwardly.

Cheetory gave me by far the most trouble in setup design. I went through numerous iterations, but from the beginning I knew I wanted him to be a third party. I also wanted to make it so that people would see the third party and go, "yeah, that was fine." Essentially something that had minimal potential to frustrate. Striking a perfect balance between that and making it a fun role to play was hard but I think I came pretty close. I made him a Serial Killer that was significantly weaker but had a significantly easier win condition.

As for some of the flavor choices: Zito's a vig because he likes vigs. RC's a doc because he likes docs. I considered making zoraster a VT for laughs, and settled on what was basically that. Whoever was scum was generated randomly before the setup was made, and I wrote the flavor around that.

I think people who accuse my setups of being townsided (there always are people) need to consider at least one of the following:
1) scum have won in almost all of my setups (and still complain)
2) i consistently give town a lot of awkward and slow powers
3) unconditional daytalk is a LARGE and i mean LARGE asset for scum both mechanically and psychologically

I’m not so sure about that, although it’s a fair assessment considering that the nightplay fell mostly towards scum’s favor.
But Pun and Shepard and Fire making it to endgame would shock me.
I think the bus unravels after Fire flips- it’s Espe’s literal only contribution for the past dozens of pages and is a fairly detectable bus once Fire flips. the worst is endgame material but is losing a bit of steam as well, IMO.

I'm drafting a post-game debrief post, in which I will address multiple things, like replacements, potential improvements, setup questions, and my future in modding (which will probably be nonexistent).

A large part of it will be dedicated to a breakdown of mistakes made this game for transparency's sake. I was not anywhere near the capacity needed to be to mod a Large Theme, especially one at this complexity, and that definitely effected the quality of modding.

Mistakes I made this game:

1. Two instances of forgetting to transfer a piece of information that was given to a predecessor after replacing them (to Commander Shepard and guacamole)
2. I clarified a mistake in a role PM to Espeonage but not to Dunnstral regarding their avatar bet. This was rectified before any potential major problems could arise.
3. I neglected to alert the worst to his stolen ability for a time.
4. The one issue that had the most actual impact on the game was me failing to resolve Krazy's roleblock on DeasVail.

Things that were not mistakes but were perhaps ambiguous or messy:

1. Before game start I had considered the possibility of the message facilitation on Taly's role and wondered how to resolve it. I decided that because of the wording of the role PM and the way the actions took place during the Day Phase, I would consider it as a non-visiting action, but instead the two players in the message would visit each other during the day. This made it pretty unambiguously not affected by Taly's odd-night delay. However, although I perceived this to be clearer, I understand how it could definitely be ambiguous from an uninformed party (or perhaps even an informed one)
2. How rankings were tallied. I know there were some discrepancies between player calculated results and mine. I will say that the results were both calculated by a program I made and double checked by hand on my end. There should be no fudge based on unrevealed results because NicoRobin's were public and Skybird didn't submit anything.

Like if somehow town lost their minds and lynched everyone except vaxkiller, pun would solowin

The issue with this specific wincon is that technically the same thing applies if they die, they have infected alive, and otherwise only town are alive...

if Pun dies then it's a clear cut case of town not having that threat alive. pun winning or not winning would have no bearing on town's ability to win the game.
