does anyone have any strong thoughts regarding which players would be more likely to have listed goon as their highest priority role based on meta? I normally don't care for meta-based arguments, but if there's someone who is definitely likely to have wanted to be scum that's worth talking into consideration.

I could imagine a scenario where someone who rolls scum in this game gambits like that. it's not necessarily likely but any game where players have some amount of control over their own alignment/role is one where those questions should get asked

I don't really see how that's a reasonable conclusion? the only role everyone was guaranteed to receive in their list was goon, so talking a statement like that to mean "this player is definitely either a cop or a goon" is silly. maybe Aronis' last choice was, like, hated miller or something like that.

Yeah, Xyzzy's ISO is just not good. Especially his progression of voting this slot, saying he doesn't get Aronis votes, and then voting Aronis.

MME's characterization of hydra lol sounds... pretty fake imo. like quoting tons of posts where someone says meaningful things about you and summarizing it as "this person had nothing meaningful to say about me" is just a weird thing to say. and like I don't disagree with everything MME says but the conclusions drawn don't seem reasonable to me.
