I was looking to start a wagon, and Reundo seemed lynchbait-y enough that some scum might jump on after it had three votes
That didn't happen, so I'm wondering if that makes him scummy (partners avoided him) or if this game is just this game

I'm also bad at finding scum D1, but we can try to PoE. You're my strongest townread, so that's my starting point for now

I think the inactive gamestate makes it fairly hard to evaluate alignment based on the gamestate. Like, you could infer from this wagon situation that scum are comfortable, but it's possible it's like, Kop/GNB/Reundo or something stupid like that and inactivity makes it hard to actively push scum wincon.

I think it would be hard to PoE a lynchpool in this game? I'm not swarming with townreads myself.

Why are you townreading me so much?

Because NSG is hard townreading you and one of the following is true:
-She's town and probably correct
-She's scum and correct
-You're both scum <--- in this situation, I have no useful reads on any players, so I'm assuming it's not this

meh, not quite the answer I was looking for but ok :P

who do you think we could poe out? like i'm looking at this list

northsidegal
Sesq
2 718281828459 (replaced Saudade)
Ausuka
Toranaga (replaced Poseidon)
Kop
Keyser Söze
volxen
GameNBurger
Irrelephant11
Dunnstral
Reundo

and not a lot of names stand out to me as town. keyser, maybe you? i would say 2.718 but people disagree with me, maybe sesq but that's weak? i'm not having an easy time reading a lot of players here.

I think northsidegal has shown some insight into other's motivations in a way that scum!her might have a hard time doing
I think Keyser's actions have been anti-town (shutting down conversation on any level D1 is anti-town imo), but he's not all that scummy, either. I've seen him do the same as town and get incorrectly scumread (including by me) so I'll give him grace as long as he gets some good work in this game day

gotta go afk be back soonish

GNB is replacing out but his slot is meh.
He spent a lot of time talking about Keyser's question
I do wonder about his question to me "You're not distancing from me, are you?" because why would I intentionally distance myself from him as either alignment, unless we were both scum? Wish I could ask him about this, but in the meantime it mayyyybe sounds like he's scum worried about failing to be on the same side of things as town? It's a stretch but it's enough (combined with NSG's early point about calling his own work out as NOT TOWNY EVERYONE) to not include him in townreads
Hopefully his replacement turns things up a notch

Sesq

A quick meta read says the only thing towny about this slot is something they've also done as scum (changing their mind within a post)
so null on sesq, which is disappointing

You’re probably reading too much into this. This game has zero traction and minimal interactions.

I keep coming back to the thread hoping to see us on page 20 but it’s the same few players talking to each other. So far an unhealthy start to D1

How can we kickstart it?

Noticed you gave Dunnstral a defiant “town” read.

You think he reacted well to your “scrutiny”? Why is he town?

(If we can’t scum hunt, we can at least hunt town).

Kop, why did you vote for me?
Dunnstrai, why would you care if I used an american point (2.718) or a british point (2,718)?

I said he was "sliding closer to null". He was still a scum lean at the time. Why did you leave that part out of my post when you quoted it?

In post 139, Ausuka wrote:And how is 2.718's post forced just because it didn't have much reasoning behind it? Like Dunnstral gave no reasoning at all and he's null to you.

The reasoning he did provide was underwhelming, and it almost felt like he had to make up an excuse in order to push Keyser. But yeah, I realized I gave Dunnstral a bit more slack than I intended. For some reason I was giving him a pass because I thought he was just catching up, but 2.718 posted the same amount and I thought it was appropriate to judge him differently because of that? So Dunnstral probably should've been a lean scum, but recently I liked the pressure he put on northsidegal about the whole "commas are scummy" thing and 2.178 is looking a bit better since his readslist.

In post 151, 2 718281828459 wrote:
  • Keyser Soze: All right, this guy is null. The only thing I can see is that the vote on Reundo should probably restate the evidence as most of Keyser's recent posts are about Dun. UNVOTE: Keyser 3.5
  • Reundo: Four posts. Post 119 is great if you drop the first block of text. For now I think I want to slightly take Reundo's side of this. 4.5
  • Ausuka: I like the honest effort in 111 and 139. These posts may not directly gain conclusions but I appreciate the effort for someone who clearly was unable to get online. 5
  • Dunnstral: Why vote for Sesq? This player is lurking, as far as post 149 is concerned.
  • Flicker: Oh wait, that is the mod.
  • GameNBurger: I am just confused here. 108 should be alignment-indicative but I am unable to read the indication. Nothing else is of any value. 4
  • Irrelephant: Either I am too worn out from trying to read 5 other slots or nothing really jumps out. N/A
  • Posiedon: Did this guy like get replaced? N/A
  • Sesq: is a vote magnet. I think there have been two or maybe even three votes on Sesq with next to no explanation. I see that Sesq's play is unconventional but not really scummy. This is a hard slot to read, so I will just deduct half a point and say 3.5.
  • Volxen: Too little to read. But the posts that he did make are town. 4.1

I tried to read NSG and Kop but making this list is getting exhausting and I am not getting anywhere.

Why didn't you give Dunnstral a score? Elaborate on your volxen read, because I'm getting the opposite impression from him.

In post 182, 2 718281828459 wrote:I see nothing that is worth my attention.

You left many spaces in your reads list blank, most notably northsidegal and Irrelephant. Kop and Toranga just recently started posting too, so you could've given your take on those too. Your reads lists had a lot of nulls -- is there anyone you've been scum-reading recently?

I agree that northsidegal's focus on Kop's commas is fairly pointless, and it's a bit troubling how I know more about her philosophy surrounding Kop's commas than why she's pushing her own scum-read.

Toranga's posts haven't been anything special so far. His tone rings towny -- especially with his frustration around lurkers and lack of motivation -- but I won't put too much stock in it. I like Kop's posts more because they're focused more on the current game state (read on Keyser and Sesq, asking about the wagon on me) and it seems like he's interested in progressing the game forward.

Keyser's later posts have been fine from a scum-hunting standpoint, and coupled with meta reads from Kop and Irrelephant to an extent, I feel like some of the issues I have with him might just be related to play-style. In any case, I think I'd be better off diverting my attention elsewhere for the time being.

I don't really understand the town-reads of volxen. Everything he's posted seems like surface-level scum-hunting based mostly around points that have already been brought up by others, and as a whole it seems like he's much more interested in garnering why player X scum-reads player Y than providing scum-reads of his own. I'm more worried about him than 2.718 at the moment.

I intended to vote for numbers in the post I said I was happy to vote for, but I was on phone at the time so I didn't put the vote there.

When I was glancing over, I just wasn't impressed and didn't get any town vibe from him, his vote on Keyser early doors when he said he seems scum, but unable to support it logically, then a few posts where he couldn't contribute anything when there is a discussions going on, and the whole read list is just fluff with a few points added to it. He has 0 scum leans or any scum reads, now for a game with 150 posts to the point of putting his reads out, no-one is leaning on the other side of null.

He has virtually no interaction with anyone, or any attempt to engage in the topics that were in hand, whilst yes the game state may be a bit messed up with lots going on, and some of it possibly not making sense to some, but I'm failing to see any possible questions or clarification declared to try make things a bit more clearer.
