I am not. I am saying that rational, logical scum would not do so. Which leaves room for the illogical and irrational, which either way is not a strong enough basis for a bandwagon.

i was reading it after the fact. I saw what he was saying, was thinking him less scumy then you hammer. I wasn't here to see what was said or to move my vote, i would have liked to presure him to claim. If he continued to refuse, then i wold have aeen okay

Okay, well I see armlx's point, but a lot of the reasons GS was voted in that game was for avoiding answering questions, as well as using emotional appeals and sub-par logic. Honestly, I still don't find any of these quite as bad as hammering without giving adequate time for a claim, but I'll give it some thought...

Reread? Completed. I was debating with him a few days back. I have been busy and other faster paced games have, unfortunately, been taking up my time. Will be posting an update tomorrow if I can.

Okay! :-)

Telling the town what you think of the top vote getters (specially Gorrad) before the day will done will go great lengths to guarantee that you won't get coal again this year ;-)

Vote : JamesThePhox

JamesThePhox wrote:I concur with JDodge's case on Kison. Kison, early on, seemed to take many opportune votes, switching between bandwagons.

I would rather see more pressure on Kison than GS.

Unvote: Greasy Spot; Vote: Kison
JamesThePhox wrote:JDodge makes a good point.

JamesThePhox wrote:
Claus wrote:JtP, why are you voting Kison and JDodge?
JDodge for just some weird vibes from him, and to put him at the same votes as GS.
Sorry, not good enough. "Weird vibes" can be explained as much as "gut instinct" can. Point out what is causing these vibes. Otherwise, your vote on JDodge is nothing more than OMGUS.

And while you're at it, explain how my Day One votes were opportunism for bandwagons. Nice attempt pegging it on JDodge, though.

Gorrad : Went over his posts
again
today just to reacquaint myself. Picking up where I left off, though...
Kison wrote:Also, if you were so sold on this slip being unexplainable any other way, why did you swap votes to Zombie, who, from your perspective, would have had a much lower chance of being scum?
Gorrad wrote:For Zombie, I thought them both scum and, seeing that Zombie was more likely to be the lynch, swapped accordingly.
~~~Gorrad's Day One vote on Zombie~~~
Gorrad wrote:Agreed. The GS thing is frankly really confusing me, but no matter how I look at it I don't like Zombie.
Unvote, Vote: Zombieslayer54
Here's the problem, Gorrad. I don't see where your compelling "Zombie is scum" reason is. You just piled right on. And quite frankly I don't think his simple "agree with you" vote was all too damning. The point I'm making is that you claim that Greasy Spot's "slip" is absolutely unexplainable from a Town perspective. To me, if you actually thought that, then you'd pretty damn certain the guy is scum. How did Zombie's actions create an identical impression on you and why did you not even comment on it?
One other thing that caught my eye :
Gorrad wrote:
JDodge wrote:I can post you four cases if anyone feels the need to bitch about me using four votes. There is no reason for anyone to not commit to everyone they find suspicious.
I'm holding you to this, JDodge, only I want to see one of the cases- the one on me.
I can see why you want to know JDodge's reason for voting you, but why do you not care about the other three cases?
Tomorrow I'm rereading GS from both a Town/Scum perspective. Also will be reviewing any other person who has my vote currently. If I have time. No promises it'll get done tomorrow.
I didn't think that he was just as likely to be scum, but GS wasn't going to be the lynch.
For JDodge, I saw at least where he was coming from with the other three. But when he votes me for some misteeeeeerious reason, I'd bloody well like to hear it.
I don't think he's overreacting, especially as you promised that you would present your case on any of the players if anyone deemed it necessary.
Despite this, Kison's case on Gorrad has inspired me to read through his posts again, too... I'm starting to understand the votes on him.
Not only would I expect for you, as Town, to stick with someone who you thought was much more likely to be scum(you did not try to press GS), but I don't really buy the supposed certainty you have for GS being scum. On Day Two you spent the first six days attacking various other players for other minor reasons and did not rejoin the GS situation until... get this... a bandwagon started forming. An interesting mirroring of your actions regarding Zombie on Day One. You've simply been wagon hopping.
Vote : Gorrad
In any event, I still find your reason for being on GS to be bogus. I think you're the only one on him for the slip alone.
After reading again... I'm pretty much where I was. I'm a tad more suspicious of Gorrad because his voting seems just a bit opportunistic, as Kison said, but his request for a roleclaim at 157 seems pretty protown... I was also considering GS as town a little more, but I can't get past the hammer. 160, merely
three posts
after ZS denied claiming, is just awful, even if his performance hasn't been optimal in the past.
If anything, the hammer after the claim refusal is even
more
of a reason why the hammer is not abnormal - refusing to claim is generally a scum-action.
With three days for the deadline, these are feasible bandwagons:
7 Gorrad (JDodge, UROE, armlx, hasdgfas, Claus, Greasy Spot, Kison)
6 Greasy Spot (windkirby, Kison, PyroDwarf, hasdgfas, Gorrad, Xdaamno)
5 JDodge (windkirby, Kison, Gorrad, PyroDwarf, JamesThePhox)
And these are the people who are not voting for any of the top three bandwagons: (I think)
GhostWriter
skitzer
UltimaAvalon
Blazerunner
sonickid01
Any particular reason, guys? I would love to hear from you about these candidates.
Nothing really has happened to change any of my opinions so far. Gorrad and James are both pretty scummy, Jdodge and GS are being voted unnecessarily, etc.
150% agree refusing to claim is pretty scummy.
Our first claim. Well since you claimed vig, you know if you don't vig tonight, you probably won't anymore, right?
Wich makes me wonder... Flameaxe was "blown off the map"... But as yellow pikmin vigs are one-time-only, I supose this makes the blowhog theory more likely.
But his post clearly indicated that he felt as if he should claim but was reluctant due to the risk. He easily could have been pushed into one with a bit of time if GS hadn't hammered two seconds after.
OK, my vote is on Sonickid for a defense of Greasy Spot, so
vote: Greasy Spot
Oh, and here is another thing. This is the vote total for the top three lynches, including my vote for greasy spot:
Kison has votes on all three top bandwagons.
Gorrad, Pyrodwarf, hasdgfas, and windkirby have votes on two. Note that gorrad is one of the top bandwagons.
Everyone else has either 1 or 0 votes in te top three.
Just thought this information would be helpful.
Confirmable claim, I'll
Unvote
. Unless someone familiar with Pikmin is fairly sure that a Bombrock kill would look the same as either of the MO's we've seen, Gorrad, kill someone tonight, presumably there will be more kills and/or the MO should differ from those we have seen and we will be able to tell you did it.
