As a Yankees fan that’s only seen one World Series win since the age of two, the Pats are an evil empire, and the world would be a better place if all the Boston teams started sucking again. But I still can’t deny that they have some really good players - Brady is really fucking good.

Also my friend tells me the Pats are missing the playoffs lol

I'm a Yankees/Raiders/Lakers fan. I don't think it's possible to hate Boston sports more. Lol

ty for revealing your alt.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

this is correct
if you remove the second best team from each sport it is:
NYC: 44
Boston-(Including Patriots): 37

Well loyalty doesn't mean you have to blindly root for the team closest to you.
I got my teams from an uncle I was close to while growing up. I've been fans of all of them for about as long as I can remember.

And fuck yeah I'm a Lakers fan. I live in Sacramento - what, am I supposed to root for the Kings?

Lol at the loyalty comment. If I was a bandwagoner you'd think I'd ditch a team that went 4-12 for almost 15 years lol

I always wondered what it would be like to have a local team. I mean the city 5-10 minutes away recently got an AHL team and a pro indoor soccer team. But like a top level pro team....would be awesome.

I got a Raiders tattoo back in 2012 and the team went 4-12 the next season in response. I've been a season ticket holder since I moved to Sac in 2016 and I've seen at least 1 game a year in person every year since 2010. (Seattle is a really cool place to watch a game btw). My blind loyalty to this team has broken my heart far more often than not.

It would probably be more interesting if the Kings were decent. Right now it just makes traffic absolute hell on game days, and the markups on Lakers tickets are ridiculous.

Yep. So many years of thinking players are going to end up being something and then watching them fall on their faces. So many blowout losses. Then finally a good year in 2016 ended by injuries and be followed up by whatever the hell last year was. It's been rough.

I'm planning on going to a home game this year. Just need to figure out which one is best with my work schedule.

I was at the game when Carr broke his ankle. It was the 4th quarter, we were up double digits, everyone was feeling good.

Carr goes out, we still win the game for 1st place in the West, but I've never felt so empty after a loss... And I was there for the 2011 season finale vs San Diego and last year against Dallas - Carr fumbled about 10 yards in front of me.

Being there for the other moments though like last year's Thursday Night Heart Attack vs Kansas City makes it worth it though. Let me know if you make it to a game - I'll buy you a beer. :)

That game aged me 50 years and gave me 3 separate heart attacks. I don't think I'll ever see a game with a more incredible finish.
