if scum has power negation and we are giving 3 townies bombs to explode themselves with, the scum will only let the TvT kills go through. if scum is one of the people we elect to use the bomb, they will just use power echo instead, or get some other ability and create WIFOM when neither side dies at night.

yeah that was what I was trying to say. math was trying to say we have enough lynch to clear the game even if someone gets framed by a block though.

Drixx BP in n3 is confirmed unless if drixx was also chosen in night 2, chose the bp there and chose petrification n3 but used his bp there

One other issue with the bomb plan:

if someone dies and their target doesn't that means one of the two following things:

their target was the mysterious n2 scum in ank place who got bp and used it
scum night killed and blocked the bomber.

and we can't say which.

The people who might use phasing are me and nacy
The people who might use Impenetrable Skin (BP) are me, nancy, whoever instead of Ank was chosen, Mathblade, Sakura Hana, Drixx
The people who might use Power Negation are me, nancy, Math, whoever instead of Ank was chosen, Sakura, Drixx (extremely unlikely because checked with mimic and used bp that night)
The people who might use Petrification are me, Sakura, Math, Nancy, Drixx (extremely unlikely because checked with mimic and used bp that night)
The people who might use Power Echo are me, sakura, math, nancy and drixx
The people who might use forcefeild are math, sakura,me, drixx, nancy
The people who might use freezing are math, sakura,me, drixx, nancy
The people who might have super strength are math, sakura,me, drixx, nancy

IF the lists are believed (Math sakura are not scum and no one else was chosen instead of the dead person in their lists)

FA this post is way over a line. I get that you and I disagree on setup. You have officially killed my will to care about anything in this game. I understand you are a passionate player. I know you as a person and I don’t think you would actually do this. However the mere fact you would threaten my in body persona of a game in order to win it is downright disgusting.

Especially to someone who you believe is on your own team. You made your points earlier and I said I was fine with bombing Creature if no Petrification. I took SS in order to try to trick scum into wasting a negate on me because I figured Sakura and you were higher priority targets.

However if I am going to be treated like the person behind the keyboard is not worth breaking simply for a different mechanical stance then even though I think Sakura’s plan is the best I withdraw my support for it. Right now I am trying to convince myself to care about this game as a whole.

If the townblock is going to threaten any voice that disagrees with bodily harm or other things that cross site rules I would rather have fun than continue to discuss the point. It won’t change my belief.

However that being said if we aren’t doing 3 doing none is the safer option after three. Two still doesn’t alleviate the townblock problem (neither does any but zero is still a little bit more risky than three)

And for those of you who wish to know I am town I have literally nothing to offer you. I have not played this game to townfirm myself only to try to help us win. I broke down all of the math and the numbers and asked several times for input from people who I knew mechanics knowledge are sound and they did not provide a flaw other than what is in the town block.

In terms of actual reads, FA kept throwing mine right off with the ridiculous defensiveness. I called out both her and Math for it during "the fight", but it was an all-game thing. I was SRing both for it, but when FA went town I kinda forgot about it.

Man, I'm ridiculously defensive all the time. In first mafia game I ever played (2006 on another site) someone called me the most defensive aggressive player of all times.

It's something about who I am. I definitely was not making this game all about myself though.

My final reads were nearly all accurate though and my wrong pick was nancy and that was not even my read. I take no responsibility for math town reads. I had an initial townread on her and thrown it to trash can when I saw the way she was defending nancy/acting about powers. that day I chose math in the group since he was the councious read and he was already up as a leadership choice by others and I had to allow him to protect himself as a potential leader.

This was brought up repeatedly during the game, first by titus, claiming I'm a puppet or some shit mid game and now it's mentioned post-game

I thought the stacking powers was a mistake, but I also said it was a valid option at the time, it's a hindsight mistake, not one you could or should have foreseen.

You weren't made leader because you were bad, in fact I'd say the fact that you're a good scumhunter with a good rep made you one of the viable options. Not like scum can really suggest me for leader with a straight face

I was only critical of not wanting to countenance that scum were pretty ok with you being leader. When we saw petrification we should have put it together, but we needed to be ok with the idea that scum were ok with you being leader for some reason.

I also think in hindsight powering up the strongest players was a mistake, it allowed scum to believably kill off their threats both mechanically and read-wise, and gave us zero info on those kills. But that wasn't your idea much as just the accepted wisdom.
