My goat with the original nom was that it was very two-dimensional. Titles are supposed to be reflective of a person, right? So focusing on a single relatively obscure aspect of a person seems cheap.
But if it’s really an aspect of Chick’s personality like everyone is saying, there’s no reason for it to not be at least part of the equation.

yeah but it doesn't focus on the art thing, and i remember reading on some title fairy thread in the past referencing a title towards anything avatar related is a no-go because avatar themes/trends/rules can change in future, and so title fairies don't like to use them as a basis for titles.

I'd prefer creative shot if we're trying to reference two things, as opposed to perfect shot

for which I like more without caring the reasons behind it, I like perfect shot better, as i think it sounds better than creative shot, and is a better reference to how good she is at lasertag.

while I topped her score in games, I did so with an accuracy between 5 and 10 percent, meanwhile her accuracy ranged from 30 to 80 percent.

the sentiment that it would be nice to include an art reference is a fair one, but imo the assertion that laser tag on its own isn't enough to justify a title is a dumb and incorrect one to me

anyway,

nominate Maruchan for passportent

that's a portmanteau of passport and portent, referring to her leaving her passport at home and having to wait several hours before getting it back. Maruchan's passport was the single most discussed topic at the entire meet and involved staged photos to make us believe that she had been detained by the military and that Majiffy got detained at the border. I'd be surprised if there was ever more then an hour that passed without someone making a passport joke.

I guess this one will probably get rejected on the same basis as pew pew but it's still something that absolutely deserves a title regardless of whatever arbitrary standards there are.

I do think laser tag alone is weak for a title (and pew pew is just a bad title regardless of justification), mostly because it has been very rarely discussed on site (her art has been way more of a topic, hell i believe her dislike for netrunner has been discussed in sitechat more than her love for laser tag >.<). I do think it makes for a fine part of a title though.

The primary things that I associate with Chickadee is:
- avatar is her face
- she makes a lot of jokes about killing people
- good artist, specializes in bones

I think a good title for Chickadee would be something charming while a little macabre, as evidenced by the latter two points. I like MTD's suggestion and think

Bone-a Fide

on its own is a decent pun title that works in those top three points pretty well. could perhaps use a little aesthetics workshopping.

As far as laser tag related titles go, Mina's definitely looks the best as a title. My own suggestion for a title in that area is

Deadly Aim

but... like, meh, it's not that clever
