Also, the way he went from "Creature is playing to his scum meta" to "Creature had a sudden burst of activity, he's town" We're in a game where scum has daychat and I feel like he's not sufficiently paranoid.

Well, this theory works a lot better, when scum is flipped - due to informed minority thing - so yeah, it usually doesn’t make sense. In Necromancer, Papa Zito pretty much thought for no reasons, scum!Kokichi and town!I were partners - solely based on him scumreading both of us.

Then you have a game like Labrynth, where town!Shoshin had been pretty much death tunneling scum!random the entire game, so if anyone to say for example, that scum!random flip spews Shoshin town, that would obviously make perfect sense.

But yeah, I agree. I’m not really a huge fan of those kind of associations because unless it’s a scumflip, it usually isn’t very reliable.

Drixx will doctor protect Nero
Nero Power Absorbs or Self watchers or tracker or whatever, but preferably the first.
Tora checks Drixx or Nero, if scum has power negate it will land around here somewhere so it will give us huge info
Nancy and Ausuka do whatever the hell they want.
Math cannot act, probably someone not the 5th could try and power echo drixx towards there.
The 5th, will Power Echo Drixx towards Tora.

This is like freaking Batman in MU Greek Mythology game, all over again. I replaced Kiana, who had correctly nailed him as scum and because I thought the push on him was so bad, and ironically it was - I actually stopped that wagon - on the freaking Godfather, no less - and because I had replaced so late into the game, I had no scumreads and the next thing I knew, my #1 townread was mistakenly getting wagoned and while I was trying to figure out wtf to do, my #1 townread got mislynched due to my stupidity.

It's possible there are other factional abilities. I don't see it as very plausible though. It would require either a very poor game design choice or a hidden mechanic which allows scum to pick up non public abilities. The entire way the game has played out demonstrates that the setup rewards scum for fooling town. (Which is the actual basic point of mafia; consider mountainous for example. This is a themed powered setup which effectively mimics the basic game really well in terms of what it rewards and punishes).

Just to point out,

Nancy actually played really damn well this game, having a playerlist of this caliber and not only surviving for most of the game but also being locked town for a good chunk of that survival time is a very impressive feat for sone's first ever scumgame. I'd be very proud of this game.
