Is brought up in a manner that looks like it was intended to be read as non game related, thus not reaching for towncred. Additionally, mod confirmed flavor was redacted because game is broken by mass flavor claim. Which means, scum flavor could very easily not be redacted, because they would have no incentive to claim flavor with town's flavor being redacted. This will be supported/refuted/made irrelevant by the first scum flip, but if I don't mark it down I will forget about it, so it gets noted that someone might look back and notice if it becomes relevant.

If you are correct in that you are first person to bring up the redactedness of flavor, that post becomes super important to look at as well, so thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I think someone asked what info can be gained from lynching Elsa.

People can still have stances on other reads and lynch the claimed scum, plus night brings in a lot of information as well which almost always substantiates previous positions or opens new avenues of discussion.

The game is designed to try and prevent swing, but that doesnt mean it isnt possible, and if town loses too many members before scum loses even one, Elsa automatically becomes a non facto member of the scum team. Lynching her later in the game is still a mislynch in the eyes of the mafia team.

Sure we'd have his reads. But they wouldn't mean anything. It would be the same information wise as knowingly mislynching townie. We wouldn't get any associative reads to work with.

I'm just going to paraphrase my role PM to the best of my ability instead of addressing every single thing because there's a lot of overlap of what people are wanting from me.

My official claim is Modified Day Flavor Cop. Once each day I can submit the name of someone and the mod will give me clues as to their flavor. Nothing is straight forward. It's all up to be deciphered. Hints could be something the character is associated with, or an event in the series where I interact with them, literally anything.

The videos I got when I copped Nico focused heavily on River. Simon was there too. But it was mostly people hunting River, Simon finding and saving River, River struggling with what's going on. All abut River. I suppose that could lead to Simon instead.

I copped when he was at L-2, so that if I had doubts I could try to save the wagon. I got the HOB image, and let it go through. I was astronomically busy in the real world toward the end of D1. But I was sure it was scum so I didn't say anything.

I don't really do hinting toward my role. In my experience, town doesn't pick up on it, and scum does, so I just kept it to myself yesterday.

I actually am open to interpretations of my results. It's why I wanted to share them. But I am having a hard time connecting the videos to HoB. It doesn't have the right vibe really. I think the things you're saying about me could be true of you as well. You want Nico to be HoB, so you're finding a way for your logic to fit the clues.

I can understand being annoyed at someone - but for whatever annoyance you have towards Drixx he *did* lay out a fairly comprehensive series of issues with how you're approaching your reads and results and you're hardcore ducking addressing those issues and resorting to just empty attacks.

1. If you're town, this does not help sort the day.

Why do you think the one video (on TPFKAP) was so slight in actual connection with who he was, and the other is super direct? That seems like a big issue.

1) If the line isn't related to the way your actual role works, then it's irrelevant.
2) If it is related to the way your actual role works, it is relevant, and should be shared. If you have any concerns about whether you can or can not share something, draft up a post including the information, send it to the moderator, and ask for their judgement before you post it in the thread.

Hard to say with the small amount of results I have.


As for the line in my role pm: it says the clue could be something I was involved in with the character. Like an event or conversation. It doesn't have to be, that was just one example of something that could be given. I actually did share this information before, but it doesn't seem to stick in anyone else's mind. Knowing I'm town, I have to wonder if all of the ship centric videos mean that Tails is also on the Serenity.

RR - That actually sounds a lot like you're Mal. At least to me it does. Makes sense Mal would have the most flavor. No one else seems to have that level of flavor. My role pm doesnt have any flavor. Not even about being part of the crew. And Mal being captain would make sense with checking on his crew/family.
