Kokichi's asking why manatee hasn't been lynched yet rubs me the wrong way. I know I caught him for being scum in pokemon go for not actually having any real reads and just doing the wolfy pop ins, but this could be the exact same thing where he's just chosen a lynchbait-y player to do a fake strength push on.

yes, i did. i didn't get your lynch through in the early days but i don't think that takes away from my "catching" you.

i thought a few of your reactions to the jailkeeper info coming out were vaguely towny and i came to the conclusion that if maria wasn't scum then her read on you (which for some reason she was lying about) was probably right.

there's something that feels nonsensical about this thought that i can't really put into words. not specifically as it relates to me, but just in general in a situation like this.

i won't deny that i made mistakes that game. i'm not saying my play was perfect, or even good. all i was saying was that, in the beginning, i had kokichi as scum.

i don't really have one right now. slimer is someone who i remember seeing in a lot of the games that i read before my first game and around that time of my first games, but i don't really remember any specific meta nor do i think it would be smart to think that it'd be the same after all this time.

on an individual level, tone-wise i've felt like he's been pretty natural, but looking at it again just right now content-wise he's kind of lacking which makes me lean towards scum. i don't get the sense that there are reads that he really cares about from his posting - he's just sort of making conversation with people. that being said, i've been kind of sitting back when it comes to reads myself, so i'm not sure necessarily how scum-indicative it is.

obviously i was just talking about this but his concern over you sheeping me kind of pings me. like, is "if i realize that you're town i will help you lynch your scumreads" really something that's that scary to think about? it also seems to assume that you're town too - or at least, he hasn't showed any concerns that you might be scum doing all this.

because when someone has a read that they theoretically

should

be very confident (in my head i imagine myself scumreading or townreading myloninja), i would usually expect some sense of enthusiasm or conviction in the expression of that read. obviously you've done a bit more of that now but that post didn't really remind me of any of that, which made me wonder if it might just be a reaction test or joking around or something.
