Don't especially care if the wagon gets hammered. Pretty much expect spoogh to flip scum. If they are town, their claim doesn't really matter all that much, I think I'd still want to go for them even if they claim e.g. n3 cop. I'm flying to the east coast tomorrow for a work trip for the week, so I'll be pseudo-V/LA until Friday but I don't really expect it to affect activity.

Okay so here's where I'm at atm

A50, I have a bit of a scum read for, there were some stuff near the start that I didn't like after I came out as cop (saying that regardless of who I check I should be the Day 2 lynch)

M&M, I had a townread on them at the start but the more the game goes on the less I trust them, reason why I trusted them to begin with was because they asked me to cop them and they would protect me, but the issue with that is if they are mafia, they could easily kill me and then claim the next day that they doc'd someone else under the thought that mafia wouldn't try to kill me as they knew I had protection...I don't get why M&M keeps trying to lead the lynch each day, and more importantly why he keeps trying to swing the lynch away from cop check'd guilty

N_M, I'm very happy with, got us a mafia and as has been said before Caraca seemed surprised by the check for it to be a mafia play

Skitter, is my cop innocent and now confirmed town as it's impossible to have both me and skitter as mafia

At this stage we've still got 2 ML and 1 mafia left (after dealing with Gamma v Spoog)

Gamma v spoog we've either got TvM (cop found mafia) MvM (Mafia bussing mafia) MvT (mafia making us waste a ML)
Out of the 3 I highly doubt it's the last one, I don't think mafia would make us waste a ML when we've still got 2 left, it's a massive waste of a mafia member, therefore I'm happy with spoog being the lynch today but first I'd like to hear from spoog and a role from them

Also in hindsight I feel like this is rather questionable. I went back to Mini 1996 to try to remember if I’d actually had something good to sort implosion by there (I didn’t), and my opening was rather similar. Curious if Creature picked up on this since he was also in that game.

Noticing an agenda from Carcalilly to shade town

Okay so first off an addendum: I thought about my reasoning for TRing NM and not considering him a suspect and realized based my presented reasoning for me+Spoogh not being partners it would actually make a fair amount of sense for NM to claim a guilty on buddy Carcailly.
In addition I never said this until now mostly because I just didn’t feel like saying it initially, but during my spat with PP about what I thought was a lie on PP’s part, I actually recalled another game where NM was among the top posters: Earthbound mafia, where he was scum.

That’s a large scum pool

This feels like shade for having a large scumpool. I recall a game where I got busted for following someone who called out someone for having too many null reads. This feels similar in the sense that NM is trying to push something that is surface-level scummy.

This post is again completely tongue-in-cheek. Why not say that? It is somewhat uncaring. I don't really care about seeing your reaction to that "reaction test" vs seeing your reaction to me calling my own post a reaction test. Both of them are going to get you to say some stuff. Neither has a grand plan of how to evaluate what you say as townish or scummy.

So assuming the underlying narrative here is "Carcalilly was shading townies but defended implosion, so implosion is probably scum", that's a really bad narrative. Scum don't go into a game saying "I'm going to defend all my buddies, and shade as many townies as I can." They shade who they think they can get away with shading or who they think they'll get towncred for shading, and they defend buddies or townies who they think they can either tie to them or get credit for correctly defending. Scum are not going to throw shade in all their interactions with townies because they were throwing shade at some; it's the opposite, they're going to attack some and defend others.

Carca's defense of me is definitely something that can be read into; but she doesn't really have a ton of motive to defend me there in the situation where we're both scum, imo. Scum (most scum, at least) are going to be extremely loathe to make a post that early that strong-ties them to an actual scumbuddy; decrying an RVS wagon on town is not a difficult thing to do, on the other hand.

Could be good for both of us in future games.
