Are the cults going to have PT's? Because I think that would arbitrarily increase the level of complication for the game and thus love the idea immensely.

Run this after this ends and I’m down.
I also have an idea for everyone is a PGO mafia that I might actually do when this is over. (Would also be a mishmash).

In post 18, the worst wrote:I have an idea for a spin-off game. it'll be a large theme with two cults recruiting simultaneously but they can only recruit VTs.
also there's only one killing role and it's town aligned, and there's no lynches. instead you can make people unrecruitable
I expect the game will go on for several months and virtually no one will die so it should be wicked who wants in????

So much PT changing is just... bleh.
Why not just let them keep access to the PT? Once you've been a part of a cult you can see what they talk about, even if you're no longer a member. Also means people will likely continue lying in PTs and there's no mod confirmation that someone has been removed from your team.
Not for this run, obv, but I see no end to the ability to run little games like this in mish mash. So far they're always fun.

I promise no one will call you out on your lack of in depth flavor knowledge for the basis of your cult name. Or at least if they do they'll look even sillier than you will.

:Throw bait:
Also, it's weird to me that the actual percentages for that are known. Like, I get why they're known, it just kind of ruins the mystique of my childhood.

I just remember that holding the down button and B supposedly increased your chances to catch pokemon because computers are magical.
It was a wonderful, simple time, when ten year olds were allowed to leave home to fight monsters and there was a distinct lack of adult supervision except for that one weird guy who left like 7 siblings with his neglectful drug dealing dad to follow the ten year old around and hit on random women.
Some might say a better time. Those people probably wouldn't describe the time with the same words.

How bout this. I explain it, if I'm not wrong we all feel good that we could have won together and then play the game as intended because that seems like fun?

Okay, so I'm going to reduce this to 4 people for the sake of less repetition.
Players A, B, C, and 5.
Player 5 is lynched D1.
Players B and C recruit Player A.
Player A recruits Player B.
Game is over if Player C successfully recruits A, everyone wins.
If game is not over, Player B is lynched.
A recruits C, C no targets.
C Dies.
All players (Except 5, cause fuck that guy) are members of player A's cult. (Also dead, but who gives a shit.) Player A's cult wins, including all of the dead player they recruited.

Basically, my joking suggestion of everyone targeting me and us lynching my target everyday until everyone joins my cult.
It's a guaranteed win for everyone assuming everyone plays ball. It's also really boring, so lets not do that, but at least we could have solved things peacefully before getting all murdery and backstabby.
Also, has the weird flavor matchup of a bunch of cultists ritualistically killing themselves. Kind of a morbidly fitting gamebreaking strategy if you think about it.

It isn't, but I wouldn't have to.
I'd just have to vote.
not sure I get it- when you lay out the plan in material terms, e.g A being SIMYK b being duckling C being you, that turns into saying who you will vote isn't it? because you've essentially said you will recruit player A / SIMYK. maybe i'm just being stupid idk
pedit: it was a joke about tw digging his own hole - i don't think Ducklett is related to digging although I could be wrong
It wouldn't matter who I recruited. Any recruitment I made would go through because everyone else would be targeting me, so I could lynch that person the next day and they would definitely win with me for the rest of the game. It would require everyone to trust me not to intentionally screw over someone by lying about recruiting them and would require no one to intentionally try to screw over someone by recruiting them along with me. But I wouldn't have to claim anything. And no one would have a reason not to lynch my lynch target, because to do so would be sticking their neck out for someone who is definitely not a member of their cult.
Thisis whom AHIRU-TAN would recruit first and basically I want to lynch whomever he is allayed with WITHOTU lynching him at endgame since cause that's my FINAL KEIKAKU
But I'm also crazy fun at parties and my feet make noise so you won't have to worry about me sneaking up on you.

Voting is considerably more interesting in this game than in SK.
Also lol at tw claiming to be figuring things out. We all know he's just gonna be innocent and cuddly until surprising us all with a murder/death/kill.

Now comes the popularity contest portion of the game. You want to lynch someone who both didn't target you and didn't get targeted by you. Preferably without signalling to all the other teams who did do those things. You could just pick someone at random to sheep, I suppose. I mean, I totally didn't do that.

The only rule given was that we couldn't claim being recruited. Which sucks, cause I totally would've claimed to be recruited by someone who didn't recruit me for the WIFOM.

TBF, you guys should have been far less reluctant to lynch people you were tied to.
Staying alive for the length of the game was most important. Next was not lynching the person who'd recruited you. Not lynching the person you recruited didn't really matter much.
I was just lying to try and make people gunshy so I could maybe live through D1 and get recruited.
