This is laughable. WildTurtle (as you stated), Amazing, and Dyrus are not anywhere close to world class/top tier.

Sneaky is not on the level of deft, deft eu, imp, etc, and lemon's strength is what he brings outside of straight up mechanical skill.

Meteos & Balls are both world class obviously, but Hai/Lemon/Sneaky's synergy comes from the shot calling and rotations/map mechanics. Individual player skill matters less in competitive team games than team synergy. Case in point: Doublelift.

Dyrus almost always goes even, and he's been doing fine vs Ackerman (who is very clearly a world-caliber player)

The only thing Dyrus has going for him is his Renekton play. He had shitty games on any other top laner he tried this season (namely, Gragas, Lulu, and Shyvana). Also, saying he's "going even" in lanes versus the trash top laners in NA LCS doesn't really mean much. And it especially doesn't mean much when tons of games don't even have him GO to lane at the start.

I really dislike the seeding here for everyone. We're likely to have our real "finals" match in the semifinals and then the finals will be a wild stomp with SSW crushing whatever poor team ends up against them in the finals. EDG could conceivably put up a fight if they make it there, but OMG/SHRC/NWS don't stand a chance. Other than SSB/SSW, I think C9 is the other truly competitive team.

It's not so much about down with korea rabble rabble for me... it's that SSW's games are so fucking BORING. Sure, they have a large champion pool compared to most teams, but every single one of those champions they play is a safe meta pick. Ooh, Imp can play Twitch, Lucian, and Corki! Ahh, Mata can play Thresh, Nami, and Janna! And wooow, such range in Pawn playing Fizz, Zed, and Talon!

It's just a super boring champ pool. And while SHRC plays a lot of the same champions, they are willing to bust out shit like Fiddlesticks jungle and Pantheon jungle and bringing back the Orianna mid picks after group stage and they're just a joy to watch. It's also impressive that the team communicates by pings more than by verbal communication due to a language barrier.

Monte is just about the only person in this whole situation (Jatt included) that is making any sense right now.

I mean, the only thing I'd say that maybe Jatt could have got wrong is to consider why they're all in Korea in the first place - it's not to become solo queue Gods, it's to prepare for Worlds, which may mean Balls is experimenting with new item builds and skill orders, testing the limits of his play and working to expand his champion pool. All good objectives for World Championship prep, not so much for getting to the top of solo queue.

Other than that, Jatt presented information that is factually accurate and analyzed it fairly. You can't ask for more than that.

Anyway, C9 had a confusing draft stage to me, but hard to know what they thought their options were. viktor bot kinda sorta worked, but was only possible on Blue. They needed to figure out a way to let akali/irelia through, ban viktor if they couldn't come up with a better response. Ekko was worth a shot, but it seemed clear game 1 wasn't going to work. Lissandra wasn't the reason they lost, but think they may have tried to ride that too far.

Some weird in game decisions too, like letting bot tower stay up and deciding to play around the mid lane instead.

Really though, at least on the day pretty clear that C9 was just outplayed. FNC looks great, but so does IG. Seems a fitting finals.
