Game Rules (Modified from Zorblag, who modified them from Vel-Rahn Koon):

General Gameplay and Etiquette:

1. You may not quote private Moderator-supplied information (either real or fabricated) of any kind. Paraphrasing (for role claims, etc.) is acceptable.
2. There is to be NO personal communication outside of the forum postings unless your role PM specifically allows it. Mafia members may communicate at any time, but only in the private topic specified in your role PM.
3. If you have a role with a Night action your choices are due to me by the posted deadline. If I do not receive your choice via PM or relevant private topic by the posted deadline you will forfeit your actions.
4. Any player with a Night action may instead submit a “No Action” PM to let the Mod know that you do not want to perform your expected action that Night phase. This is greatly appreciated if you plan not to perform an action.

Voting, Deadlines, and Player Death:

1. A simple majority of all living members must agree on one person for a lynch to occur prior to deadline. The number of players required to lynch will be in all vote counts.
2. Once you have reached a simple majority, no further votes or unvotes count.
3. Once a player is lynched the game enters twilight until I post a death scene; all players including the one who was lynched may continue to post during twilight.
4. Please submit votes as:

Vote: PlayerName

or VOTE: PlayerName. I will count all votes that I can understand as a clear vote, so abbreviations of usernames are fine.
5. Please submit vote revocations as either

Unvote: PlayerName

or UNVOTE: PlayerName or UNVOTE: . Unvotes are not necessary before changing votes.
6. You may Vote: No Lynch - half of these vote types are required to send the game to Night phase without a lynch.
7. Day 1 will last 10 days. All subsequent days will last 7 days. At deadline, no lynch will occur if no majority has been reached.
8. Night phases will last 48 hours.

Miscellaneous/Mechanics:

text is reserved for the Mod (#C35817). No invisible/small text is allowed, nor is cryptography.
2. If you have an issue/problem with the game, please PM the Mod privately. Do not post issues/complaints in the game thread.
3.

Please bold all requests to the Mod so that they don’t get missed.

4. Prods of missing players will be issued automatically after 36 hours of no activity. A prodded player has 24 hours to respond or risks replacement. A player who receives a third prod is subject to immediate replacement.
5. Rule violations will be dealt with according to their severity, up to and including a modkill.
6.

If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 36-hour period please post a notice to that effect in the thread.

Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
7. If five consecutive day or night phases go by with no deaths, the game will end in a loss for all factions.

hey guys! I'll be your IC for this game and when I mean IC I'm inexperienced challenge which means I been around the site for a while.

What does this entail for you?

I will teach you everything you need to know. Ask me questions, however many they are and I'll answer them.

I can not lie to you regardless of my alignment as it's stated in being a good IC. Everything I say will be 100% truth.

So first things first:

A few rules of my own that I follow are:

Don't panic and stay calm.

Do NOT fake claim as town. If you are VT do not fake claim a PR - it hurts you and your alignment more than the mafia.

Only "claim" when you are at L-1 and someone does intent to hammer.

What is claim? When you give the name of your role to the thread. For example: If your role PM says you are a VT - claim VT

What is intent to hammer? Intent to hammer will be the vote that ends the day sending us into night.

What is L-1? It is the vote right before the last vote.

Do not quick lynch and do not hammer before waiting for a claim.

We always lynch Day 1. A no lynch day 1 benefits the scum more than the town.
