I mean, I think it’s known that I grew under a rock pop-culturally speaking? But it was one of the few movies my dad would watch with me when I was either too young to understand what was happening and then, later, when I was old enough to. And yeah, obviously it is deeply #problematic, as is my father, but it has a weird special place in my heart as a result.

xalxe, when you accidentally auditioned for porn, what did you think you were doing there?

My best friend/roommate in college was a theatre major, and being a video person sometimes I needed actors, so I had connections through her. Also being an extremely amateur, sometimes people I'd had work for me would ask me to do something for them, you know, we're all broke college kids tryna get by. Anyway I was young and attractive at the time, and being freshly Not Straight I made...interesting friends and was making...questionable decisions, and one of them was like "hey I'm working on this project, come read for this thing at like 9 at night," which was not that odd, but anyway then it became odd when I was asked to start taking off more than my shirt.
