I'm fine with as many players as there is interest.

Well, we do have to factor in physically accommodating everybody and, you know, having enough time to go from Game Start to FTC in a reasonable amount of time.

I think 18 is better if we have the interest. Extra two rounds means we'd have to play faster but we accomidated redemple temple last time

I
*might*
actually be able for this meet. And I am going to be really excited about that.
(Yeah, I live in Thailand but by August 2019 I should currently be on a 3-month stay in Alaska so I could be able to fly to the meet--unless I can't cover the flight cost)

I'm leaning towards Option 1 because of the airport.

I mean, worst case you can throw in some double tribal councils to speed things up. It wouldn't be the worst thing to shake up the expected 'challenge -> tribal -> challenge -> tribal' timeline.

Double TCs are also really entertaining to watch from an outside perspective, let me tell you. It's beautiful chaos.

I briefly considered the combined TC like the one that sent Malcolm home in Game Changers, but that feels like it will be too much of a "fuck you" to anybody with even the semblance of a reputation.

Haha, I'm sure it's fine. No one's ever gone home at the first TC of a game because it was a joint TC and they had a game reputation or anything. That's crazy talk. Never happened.

I meant more like both tribes have a TC more than 1 tribe has 2, to be fair. Just to handle if the player count is higher than originally anticipated.

Right, so as I mentioned, the house we originally wanted suddenly became available so I jumped right on it.
The house is officially booked!

That means our dates are locked in stone: August 9 - August 13. The house is in Newberg, Oregon, so it will be a 30-minute drive from my/Tanis' place and a 20-minute drive from Malkon's place.

I don't want to put financial stress on everyone during the holidays so I am going to officially start accepting payments on
January 15, 2019 at 12:01 PM PST
. The cost per person will be $151.84 for the house. If you are currently listed as "interested" and decide that you will not be attending for sure, please notify me as soon as possible so we can keep the list accurate.

I'll confirm as soon as I can which will be somewhere next month when I start at my new job and can ask for time off.
