I think I won 2013 and 2015 thou I did not completely finish any season, I just lasted the longest those 2 years

D3f3nd3r's winning of back to back years with 1 strike each year has him as best player in this game by far

I doubt this scenario will come up but let's say someone currently has the longest streak of correct picks at let's say 5. Then they make a pick on a game that ends in a tie. Then they make another correct pick. The player currently has no strikes. Is their longest streak now at 6 or is it locked in at 5 and they are now on a new streak of 1?

A strike clearly ends a streak but does a tie end a streak?

Fairly certain a tie does not contribute to a streak because:

Tie Games
In the event a game should end in a tie after overtime, players that had selected teams in the game as their picks for that week will neither be recorded with a Winning Pick or a Strike.

However that does not clarify on whether a tie ends a streak or not.

Longest streak ever was 15 by D3f3nd3r in 2006. That will live on.

D3f, myself, and Haschel are all out so there is no one getting a 3rd or 2nd title this year.

So gamma in lead. gamma needs avoid a strike and have kmd get one before season is over since kmd can take the lead with 2 more correct picks

Though that is true, KMD getting any strikes moving forward could be enough for Gamma to win should Gamma not get any more strikes. If Gamma finishes with 1 and KMD finishes with 2, it does not matter who has longest streak

KMD can win by:

only getting 1 strike entire season
getting longest streak while Gamma and kmd each get one more strike
Gamma gets more strikes overall and or strikes out

Gamma can win by:

KMD gets more strikes and or strikes out
KMD fails to get longest streak and Gamma does not strike out

A tie occurs if:

KMD gets the exact same streak length before striking and Gamma gets a second strike. Neither one strikes out
KMD gets the exact same streak length before striking and Gamma gets a second strike. Then both players strike out on the same week

KMD has tied gamma in streak. He will either take the lead or fall behind based on his picks performance

Streak record gonna stop at ten this year with the broncos loss. Since that's a guaranteed tie, its all about who gets least strikes moving forward.

I think the teams gamma and kmd have picked will both win during week 17, so they should use the playoffs to break the tie as that was done a previous year when t-bone won this.

For Playoffs selections reset. Doesn't matter if you used them during regular season or not. All teams that make the playoffs can be used once moving forward.

Yay as I said in the nfl thread, I had IND, SEA, BAL, CHI. Only 1 of those actually worked for me and I would have taken CHI as my pick
