Sol is fucking amazing. I don't know where the perception of "Aurelion Sol sucks' came from because he's the best DPS mage in the entire game if you can play him. For reference, experienced Sol players win about 60% of the time with him before his last nerf.

To those of us that don't have all the champions (or want mastery levels 6 and 7), Mystery Champion Shards are out in the store, under Accessories. They cost 195 RP or 1700IP each, and can be forged in Hextech Crafting. Once the shard is forged, you also get an amount of blue essence depending on the champion's IP cost (I got 20 for Shen and 10 for Caitlyn, might be 0 for a 6300IP champ shard idk).

However, if you have all the 4800IP and under champs, you can get a 100% 6300IP champ for 5100IP this way, which saves you a lot of time.

Ziggs is great at stalling out games and has great seige, so you should pick him when you expect to deal get time to poke in front of turrets, and want to enact global presence with his ult.

Lissandra's shtick is dealing with mobile targets and teamfighting, so pick her if you expect to fight a lot. Her initiation is also very good, so you can pick lissandra with a team that wants to fight with no engage.

I prefer Jungle over support because I like the map-wide presence and sneakiness of the jungle If I play in a lane, I'm largely bound there unless I roam for 10+ minutes. If I jungle, I can avoid laning (which I'm generally bad at) and have an impact wherever I want with a surprise attack. Not because I hate playing support.

As a renekton player myself, Trundle can survive the first few levels and outscale. Gnar, Fiora, and Irelia are all not bad but are skill based. Darius can do well too. His cooldowns are long, so if you can avoid getting CC'd/sustain through his damage and trade back on him while his CDs are down, that's optimal.

Alternatively, give up the wave and roam as much as possible.

Dividing IP cost of champ by essence cost of champ gives me roughly 7.15 ip/essence. Granted, I have no 450 ip champs to add to that formula from my loot list to double check.

Also, 60% of 70 lethality is 42. So if you had all those items at level 1 you have about the same about of pen

Ok but Wazza there's been just as many times where reddot's been wrong. You act like you've never heard of the "reddit knows balance" meme. Do you remember the patch where they buffed rylai's, liandries, and spellvamp? The entirety of pbe and reddot were calling for rumble and vlad nerfs because they'd be mega op. Turns out their winrates lowered accross the board. Lets not forget that people thought Kindred was garbage on release and went straight into a meta dominant position a month later without buffs.

To be fair, karthus just got hit really hard with those R nerfs. He was really good (like S tier) before, but as far as I'm aware it was because of his clear speed and ult. The whole point of jungle karthus was likely a safe(r) early game, and it's not like his ganks are terrible - he just matches up really poorly in 1v1s early, so you'd be looking to avoid that with smart warding and meta-knowledge of where those junglers are likely to be and what they'd want to do.

The problem is her playing phase is sub-par and she's even more snowball reliant than other assassins. They basically need to stand next to a wall for this to work.

Also her base damage sucks.

I don't know if I'd consier Udyr anti-lag. Hilariously because bing in the right stance at the right time is so important. Xin Zhao is way better for that.
