not this exact setup but the setup itself is a mixture of things like kingmaker and dueling.
once you play enough setups its hard to make a setup that is 100% unique.

i think best strat is for everyone to claim an arthur, everyone says no because then we get down to a few people as merlin/arthur for scum but i think that is really not a concern since i think they will find merlin/arthur easier than us anyways since they will actually try to look for that.

While it's true that it's not the same thing, I don't think there's a negative correlation between how scummy someone is and how good their reads are. If anything, there's a positive one because (a) scum will generally try to discredit and push people with good reads and (b) they can form reads off of how people treat them, knowing that they themself are town.

There's a type of player, good at both town and scum, that is both hard to read and very strong to have as a town leader. If we do have someone hold onto the sword for the whole game, it should be someone like this.

i actually was meh on maria until dunnstral pushed maria and i was like "maybe dun has a point here"

so me falling into "a trap!" was me relying on dunnstral questioning of maria and i probably wouldn't have bothered with this gladiate in the first place if he didn't put maria back into my "well maybe she is scum" category.

also 90% of my gladiate was because maria asked for it.

Nolynching here and then coming back to lynch you later is super bad for town, and it's a trap we need to avoid. You're not towny enough to not be considered later in the game, and Maria isn't a lynch option

Yeah see this is kind of opposite of what i am thinking and why i am kind of on board with a lynch on me to get this game over with for myself.

i don't think if i survived today i woudn't be lynched tomorrow. i am literally always saved for a mislynch bait till the end.
