Yes I am fucking peeved ram I'm getting tunneled hard by a player who I consider really good and anyone who has actually played with me before would know how much I hate being wrongly targeted as town. There was a game with pie (can't remember the name, one of FG's dance games) where I went off on them really hard because they pretty much got me dead single-handedly. I actually apologized at the end because of how pissed I was. So this is pretty tame for my "sensitivity" lol.

first off I'm voting Cogito b/c I'm pretty sure scum are hiding in the margins this game and Cogito is pretty much the most in the margins you can get. Just four posts and they're basically getting no attention from anyone except Fish and I. Don't think I explained that before.

Fighting w/Gork was not fun so not having to do more of that was nice. And the personalities in this game are just entertaining to watch.

Cogito was a good amount more active in Third Fortnight from a quick ISO. 13 posts by where we are now in that game vs 4 here. Also his posts there were a lot more engaged.

@Cake I guess your characterization of Cogito’s play can apply now but at the time you voted him it was like 9ish hours into the game and I don’t think lack of content at that point is all that egregious.

What are some of your other reads?

I think pretty much all of the active players are town (Errant, xyzzy, shoshin, Gork, you, kuribo, Fish) and I don't think I'd reeval this until a while later. Notable exception to this is Fire who remains an unreadable tossup.
The people from somewhat active to doing nothing (Katsuki, Ram, the four I mentioned already, Marquis) are where I think the scum are lurking. I really need more posts from all of these people still.

why would defending a mislynch be worse optics than the naked votes?

like, youre sitting here saying weird absolutes like "scum wouldnt defend a mislynch" and "the scum are in the lurkers and naked voters", when it should reasonably be a possibility to you that a scumteam is likely to have a combination of playstyles in it. %age-wise, sure, its more likely that scum is entirely within lurkers right now, but i dont really think its a great argument behavior-wise. its very surface level to be thinking about the game in terms of some broad absolute "hmmm scum and town are in these piles because of these behaviors" rather than actually analyzing people's behaviors SPECIFICALLY. there are posts that these players are making that you could be picking at or using as examples for why you think theyre town and youre instead holding up weird abstract general statements as to why you think a bunch of people are town or scum.

@Gork I really don't feel I am playing differently. Maybe it looks that way from outside perspective. This game is much slower then my usual games and a much different setup and a much different playerlist. I don't think there's any casing to be done when the ISOs of the four SRs I have speak for themselves. I just feel there's just less to engage with overall. It's the ship I'll go down on.
I am using AtE because I'm not sure what else to do in this situation. But I'm also just genuinely frustrated. Ram's constant superiority complex when talking to me is not helping.
