As for Irellephant, I've seen a ton of games he joined late or didn't talk for a very long time (ignoring these), and a bunch of newbie ones where he is the SC (ignoring these too). Other than that, looking at his recently finished games, I've seen three games where he doesn't wagonjump a lot as a townie, and one where he does as mafia. Unless someone else who has played with him a lot wants to provide additional data, I'm going with this and with the OMGUS on me, so now my vote is serious. Could you explain your Performer vote? I thought his post was pretty standard RVS.

Confident spontaneity is a trait which I associate with town!rrelephant long before scum!rrelephant, but I do not have the time to counter-dive you atm so I'm gonna have to take this at face value. I don't know about your Performer position. It was his first post and still early in the game, so I don't think it's reasonable to expect him to be out of RVS like that. You had the benefit of 3 fast-paced pages, but he wasn't here to be subjected to that. I just don't see it as alignment-indicative.

This is probably objectively correct but it's also a little hedgy. like I don't have a strong read on Performer yet either but you can bet I want him under the spotlight

@worst: He came in, said a whole lot of nothing, except to ask Varsoon if they're on the same team. (Incidentally, I don't think his wording is as suspicious as you and others suggested, but that's just me.)
What bothered me there is why he didn't bother to do anything else. If he considered this to be the start of the game, why not participate in RVS? If not, why not read a bit (his was post 106, there weren't that many yet) and give his opinions? It just didn't look good either way.
Most of his posts aren't great, with #308 being the only one that makes me want to wait and see if he's a slow starter type, and is going to start providing more content at some point (hopefully soon).
I'm leaning slightly scum on xtoxm, but I think there are more interesting people to read through, and look for a good place to vote.

The confident townreads are something I almost expect from town!rrelephant in this list (refer his rep into schadd_'s just-finished coalition game if you want; look at the way he super super smoothly slid into the same conclusion as the rest of us with super minimal outside influence)

Irrelephant's response to my wagon should clear him. As scum, he'd express a townread on me but allow a wagon to unfold without working this hard to prevent a mislynch.

Based on my recent games with Irrelephant (TAZ, and the Schadd game you were in), Irrelephant knows that I'm mislynchable even in games where it seems like I'm the most widely townread player (TAZ) and that mislynches sometimes happen quickly without time for a town response (Carmen's lynch in Schadd's game). Knowing this, I doubt scum Irrelephant completely shuts down any possibilty of my mislynch when it's potentially picking up steam (I was the largest wagon when Irrelephant started defending me).

This is an excellent analysis. I'm starting to swing towards town!rrelephant as well and this kind of reverse meta breakdown is giving me the feeling I'm probably right.

Also, I was wrong about his "anger" coming mostly from scum. I'd say on balance it's actually more likely to come from town Varsoon, though it definitely shows up in his scum games as well. His scum games vary quite a bit in their tone.

Look harder, what REAL solving did I do, outside of mainly mechanical speculation? Did you ever really see me trying to seriously sort anyone like I did for example, in Labrynth or CoH? Did I ever try really hard to get deep nuanced reads on anyone? If you had been paying attention, you would already know the answer to that. Not criticizing or anything, you wouldn’t have thought to look for that at the time. Ank did and no, she wasn’t getting her read on me from any “astral plane” , she just instinctively knew what to look for. The main reason, some people think I’m “unreadable”, is because I never fake my emotions and I derp as either alignment, so you can’t read me based on that. Okay comparing back through our history

1) I thought you were scum early d1 in the necromancer game because you didn't do much. you got wagoned, townspewed really hard and then had this wild Town Presence which was bloody awesome.

2) Labyrinth, you were a lot quieter d1 (low postcount, bit of content when you did post) but were still pretty towny iirc.

3) Heroes Wanted, I pretty much townread you via high postcount, the way you engaged with the towncore and the fact every time I saw you ITT you seemed to be involved in the same conversations as everyone else who was obvtown. I think I read like less than 50% of your ISO that game, and I'm actually not interested in revisiting it. It's too long and I don't care and like 80% of that game was a boring circlejerk

4) here neither of you are giving off towny energy. you're not townspewing and sorting hard like necromancer (there was a tiny glimmer of some of it earlier when you were wagoned imo but it's completely fizzled and I feel like you're bored again). I don't get the feeling you're sorting the way I did in Labyrinth. if anything you feel closest to HW where your postcount is through the roof but I don't have a strong feeling of what you're about this game. obviously I didn't in HW either but I also skipped massive chunks of that game.

That's probably the best explanation I can give you for why I'm really not comfortable with you here atm. :/ yeah it's a curse to be good at scum, and it's even worse to have a blurry area between your town and scum meta. but if you're town here and I'm derpmisreading you I'm not really sure where to be looking to correct it. The more I think about the things I'm seeing as towntells (the reach out to skitter, your pleads with me, your responses to being wagoned) the more I'm feeling like they're not actually AI and I don't think you guys have another way to respond as either alignment

He flows through the motions pretty smoothly and sometimes just suddenly POWERWOLFS really hard, it's not what I've come to expect from him. but also I don't think he can get away with that kinda thing with this kind of list so I'm not really sure if it's AI.

wrt Xtoxm/Varsoon I'm not sure the theatre/smoothness of it is within a freshly returned Xtoxm's range? I probably need to deepdive Xtoxm meta to feel confident in this but I don't think the execution would be so perfect
