I'm not really following the logic of that I have to consistently townread you as town in order to have credibility when I scumread you.
That's some really awkward elitist meta rubbish that I don't buy into.
If you're scum in this game and I catch that and I get enough people to lynch you, you're caught. Other games don't matter.
Similarly, if you're town this game, it's important for you to foster town unity and catch scum together.
I don't really see you doing that here, but I'm also pretty biased, which is something we can both agree on.
It's whatever.-

Maybe work on some townplay that's not so furtive, abrasive, and rude?In post 627, RadiantCowbells wrote:I think that what I've said is far more meaningful than just 'ego talk', but okay. I've said my piece and I'm tired of people policy scumreading me thinking it'll get them somewhere.

I hard scumread varsoon's opening wall and I haven't tried to read anything else from him. At some point I've been meaning to do that since if the wall was in fact forced that might explain why it felt ultra forced. I dunno. We'll see.
But you can't. It's hypothetically possible? but you can't. you just can't. can't be done. and repeatedly trying when you can't read me just discredits you the next time you try.If you're scum in this game and I catch that and I get enough people to lynch you, you're caught. Other games don't matter.
The vast majority of people who have a problem with me brought their problem with them. You trying to policy lynch me when you know you can't read me is you bringing your problem with you.Maybe work on some townplay that's not so furtive, abrasive, and rude?
I dunno man.
You say this but I got the most votes for favourite player to play with last year. I am fine with 'breaking up' with everyone I've 'broken up' with.Like if a hundred girls break up with you and you keep going, "Oh jeeze girls nowadays! I'm so tired of them thinking the worst of me! It'll never get them anywhere!" and not realizing, like, maybe the fault is with yourself, you're not gonna do well with relationships moving forward.2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.-

Like yeah, I don't doubt that I'm a poor judge of your alignment, especially given how disparate our mentalities and approaches are.
That's why I'm not putting a huge amount of stock into my read on you, even if it's something I'm passionate about.
I really don't know what you're trying to get at here besides taunt me and I don't know why you'd want to taunt me if you're town, but, again, that loops back to the start of this post.-

This type of post just makes people want to lynch you in case you really are scum so there’s actually a chance to winIn post 625, RadiantCowbells wrote:Then don't expect to be able to win versus me if I'm scum, sadly.<Embrace The Void>

I'm not taunting you at all. I'm telling you that your approach to my slot leads nowhere.
Because of pride you may see me stating that you don't pose a threat to me as an attack but it's not an attack and I don't say it to make you feel worse.
I say it because it's true and because it's something that it would benefit you to understand if you're town.2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.-

won't help though. I'm also amazing at setting up my partners. i've made a point of getting lynched by people who want to policy lynching me several times this year and setting up my partners perfectly to prove it doesn't work. there's no shortcuts here.In post 633, Gamma Emerald wrote:

My thought is that they only wheel this out after their wounded pride in order to make some huge point about them being a great player.
I think it'd be cool if we lynched him anyway, on principle.
Also he's kinda scummy for largely dipping out of the game, I've got an OMGUS read there, and I don't think town gets a day-neighborizer on D1 in this setup.
But uh it's clearly 'cus of personality stuff.
Let's bag 'em?
Unless FB comes in and claims masons/best friends.
Then you guys get him the day before LYLO if FB and RC are still alive
Capiche?-

Why is a Day Neighborizer something you find unreasonable? In post 639, Varsoon wrote:My thought is that they only wheel this out after their wounded pride in order to make some huge point about them being a great player.

Due to the nature of the minigame mechanic--from a design perspective, allowing town to team up gives them an even bigger advantage on a mechanic that, by design, is going to have a majority of town players competing to upgrade their roles while scum don't.
It makes plenty of sense that a part of the counterbalance to the town-sided nature of this mechanic would be to give scum a means of influencing town very early in order to get them to gift the powerups or even collude in minigames.-

Depends on whether the town’s reads are on point though? They could pick a scum and end up playing into scum’s handsIn post 644, Varsoon wrote:Due to the nature of the minigame mechanic--from a design perspective, allowing town to team up gives them an even bigger advantage on a mechanic that, by design, is going to have a majority of town players competing to upgrade their roles while scum don't.

Plus scum can already collide with themselves, you seriously think scum would have more ability to control the mini games? I personally think neighborizing abilities are NAI but let’s go down this rabbit hole.<Embrace The Void>
