Why wouldn't it seem like clutching at threads? I literally am as there's nothing else to go off.

1 player voting for Vaxkiller (Wagonomics)
1 player voting for Gamma Emerald (TheBrie)
1 player voting for Party Boat (profii)
1 player voting for Xtoxm (Party Boat)

15 players not voting (Kokichi Oma, Vaxkiller, Hebichan, 0verki11, singletonking, Theta Alpine, light_ganski, Purrcocet, Wisdom, Xtoxm, Edosurist, Leodanny, Jaylow7, vonflare, Nancy Drew 39)

with 24 votes, it takes 13 to lynch.

mod notes: (this votecount is identical to the last one, but I'm posting it so that there's a new post with a votecount.) if you have not confirmed yet by providing the information listed in rule 9, please do so promptly. I don't know how many people haven't done that yet but I'll send out reminder PMs to anyone who hasn't done that probably tomorrow.

I’m confused. I thought PB was a Gamma alt.

Thing with Nancy is we just need to tread carefully because if you slip up around her as scum she notices and will tear your spine out and slap you to death with it.

Someone should mod a game, where everything save the votes, flips and role PMs, are done in memes.

This looks like one of those games where I wake up and we are on page 25
How do you expect to find the culprit when you're all worried about each other's feelings? If you're planning to expose a liar, then you have to corner them psychologically.

Oh and Halloween Dance, so that makes 2 games we’ve played together where I’ve been scum.

Like, how are you forgetting about those 2 games?

So, I’ll turn it around on you. Are you scum here, Kokichi?

Eh, true. At least you were doing something. I was stringing random stuff together without even a thread, and looking like I had conclusions.

Starting a spreadsheet now to keep track of read. Cheeky is Town. What his name who voted me hasn't done enough to be read, and I'll sort everyone else as i feel like it, and whe

The trouble with my jokes, is that people tend to take them seriously. I could try telling real jokes, that are irrelevant to the game, but there's no point in that. So I'll do random Christmas lyrics instead. Which reminds me that I did have posts on page 2 as well which what his name could have read. I don't suppose that was what pinged Cheeky. Because I'm sure my first post was non-pingy. I didn't say enough to be pingy.

I kind of agree after a closer look. I interpreted this as:

"I think there's scum in my neighborhood so I outted"
"It's dumb to think there's scum in my hood"
*votes Profii for thinking scum is in the hood"

nah I didn't think this was RVS at the time because I did something and Varsoon voted me for it - that's not random.

It's arguably low-info voting stage, which is how I like to deal with RVS which is why I said we are "emerging" from truly random into "low info" where the cases are generally poop but the game gets going.

That being said, we have to start somewhere, so we have the quote above and the quote below

In post 58, Varsoon wrote:'cus it's a fallacy to assume the same ratios exist within a neighborhood.
If we're all town in there and I make the mistake of assuming one of us is scum, then I have a 100% chance of mislynching if I concentrate there, whereas the game thread ALWAYS has the assured setup ratio.
And I know if I mislynch in there I'll sunk cost it and keep lynching in there
and if they all flip town then I know I'm up shit creek for being the last one left.
Does that make sense?

we also have where Varsoon basically says "there is a hood"

It was ME that suggested there could be scum in the hood in my haste when I thought we had deadlines to which, Varsoon made post 49...

he says

"I'm liable to believe that at least one of the four people in my PT is scum"

what does "I'm liable to believe" even mean? kinda feels a bit like he's saying "it'll be you lot that leads me into lynching within the hood, not me pushing it" almost a bit "not my fault we mislynched" so you could _conclude_ he is shifting blame for inevitable mislynches - how we he know if it's a mislynch? if he is scum in the hood

so I don't like that turn of phrase.

So then he goes a bit further into the logical fallacy of it all - which is true but, given the vibe I'm getting from above it again comes over as "yeah sure hunt in the hood if you want, but I aint leading that shit because I wont get stitched up for that mislynch, so I suggest hunting outside the hood, which puts me at a lot less risk"

again this phrase:

"And I know if I mislynch in there I'll sunk cost it and keep lynching in there"

he is right - if we restrict the lynch pool and commit to lynching in the hood, we _could_ end up doubling down

so yeah I don't like this at all
