Rules

(Shamelessly stolen from other moderators and changed to fit this game)

General

I am the Mod and what I say goes. I reserve the right to change the rules or modkill/force-replace players as I see fit. If this happens, all players will be made aware of this fact.
That being said, I am perfect. But somehow I still make mistakes, if you see one, let me know. If you have questions, comments or whatever feel free to PM me.
Preface all in-thread messages to the mod with

Punishment for breaking any of the following rules is on a case-by-case basis and is therefore not fixed.
This is a game. Play to win, and have fun, because what’s the point if it’s not fun? Or don't, you guys are crazy for playing this game.

Do not use invisible, encrypted, or ridiculously small text. Everything posted in the game thread should be public.
All votes must be written in
bold
or use the VOTE: Player tag. Unvotes are helpful, but not necessary.
Votes may
not
be contained inside quote, code, area, or spoiler tags.
A lynch is reached when day ends and a majority of all players, half players alive plus one, are voting for the same target(s).
If a majority is not reached by the deadline, a No Lynch will occur.

Activity and Deadlines

This game runs at a very very slow pace
Game days run at 365 Days.
Nights run at 48 hours.
Failure to post once every 3 months, will result in a prod.
If you fail to respond to a prod within a month, you maybe replaced. Who knows. This isn't high commitment game, I expect those who don't site flake in between start and end of the game to be able to post
If your role gives you access to a Private Topic, you may request that a partner be poked. This will not count as an official prod.
Replacements are not given any extra time. Unless I feel like it to punish you more.
Reminder that their is no hammer. Day ends when the timer runs out. That means you have plenty of time to discuss. Or talk about the weather. Maybe contemplate your life choices.
If you have a night action, you may give it to me before night begins if you so wish.
V/LA or any of that is not necessary. I am sure we all will have plenty of vacation time in between this game. A few might not make the journey.
If you are going to site leave. Please let me know, not everyone can be a true masochist like the rest of us.
A missed Night Action will result in a No Action.

Game Setup

This game is 17 players.
Scum have constant chat.
Since I want to keep this game fun and silly, expect me to enact special in game events for no other reason than shits and giggles.
People who are not in this game or possibly dead with mod permission can post. They are considered "Normals" and their posting rights can be taken away at any time by the mod. PM me if you want to be a Normal.

Some fun notes:
> The game had us play a game of mafia inside the existing game. I won as a godfather.
> One person replaced out of the game and later would replace back into the same slot he replaced out of half a year into the game.
> Two players were modkilled for making a thread about the game. And one of the slots came back as a normal afterwards.
> Pretty sure the scum team forgot they were scum until the final month when they had day chat.

The game was an astonishing achievement in mafia history.

So I have gotten this question once or twice. But if you have a night action you can submit it to me by PM before night begins and I will keep it as your default action unless you change it later. If you have a day action and want to submit/activate at a certain time you can do that as well.

Also as far as i am aware. No one who gets banned is getting replaced in this game ever unless the ban is indefinite. This game deadlines don't make sense to remove someone from the game for a 2 week ban. So don't ask me about replacing banned players. They are staying unless a mod specifically reaches out to tell me they cannot play at all.

Thanks everyone for playing huge shout out to all the players who never got replaced. Yall made it from start to finish and I think it was literally only 3-4 of you? Postie, Gamma Emerald, and Ramcius are top comes to my mind but I think a few more that died on night 1 of this game. Which was a wild night of alot of shooting. I knew I wanted more firepower in this game so it wasn't gonna go on for a decade but seeing that many deaths and everyones reactions really made me realize how much joy making this game was.

Given what I gave scum and the fact more than half town wasn't performing actions. I think it could be argued I gave scum too much and should have buffed town more. In the end I think town didn't try which I don't blame them for, this game was always my little troll game that i made, one I hoped everyone enjoyed didn't take it super serious and just rolled with the punches and again had fun.

If you took this game extremely serious, I think you missed the point of it being year long deadline game. It was always meant to be a game in which you casually came back to, maybe do a bit of hunting, maybe just shoot the shit with people u haven't talked to in a month or two and then go back to life.

I did want people to play the game (just not much), but it was always supposed to be an after thought to just be the most casual games you can ever play.

Anyways thats about my final thoughts on this game which I have waited 3 and some change years to complete. I really didn't like the setup roles the longer this game went on but some crazy hijinks happened that I enjoyed so net win i guess.
