Imagine I was actually on the wagon and I typed in [vote:player] on the new page- to some, it might appear I’d hammered - sometimes scum go “ah shoot you got me” or at least some people go “ hey that’s not a hammer “ and you can see how genuine you think it may or may not be

I guess the real question there is why has Cheeky called it out as specifically WK rather than just town not wanting to lose

So Dunnstall doesn’t have a huge ISO but he goes from not knowing there are no night kills to being clear that the 2 scums know who each other are - obviously in a “normal” game that is in fact normal so I think it displays he understands the competing factions element which means I think he is derping on purpose because it said nightless way back at sign up phase

I'm referring to the whole "own" debacle. I think any rational person would assume the scum share a PT if they're given one. I actually noticed while reading the role PMs before that the links to the PTs are different. Even with this I assumed it was just a mistake and that one was used actively.

I think most people would assume "your own" refers to the two scum teams, as illustrated by Wisdom in 171. Defaulting to the opposite is suspicious as hell.

I don’t agree the word own can refer to a group in this game - sure it works in 2v7 but 1v1v7 and saying {1v1} can be referenced with “own” isn’t correct

I didn’t spot the different links but I will insist that I read the words on the PM properly

As it happens- I agree with you that a shared PT would be more logical in this setup but I don’t think that’s what those PMs say

i could also vote darklighta - he has appeared on a lot of wagons - I'll point out whilst we have debated the english language somewhat this game, this isn't an OMGUS vote

i am not exactly sure how to play this game but i think scum try to whittle out some townies early on by basically lynching anyone which goes some way to town clear me, cheeky, dunnstrall i guess too as those are the wagons i've noticed and DLA is always involved.

i like my theory because i kinda like Cheekys play so far - i feel like I'm getting a good handle on reading her ......but maybe Dunnstall got caught up as I'm not as convinced on him being town -maybe i'm just wrong, idk. Obviously I know i am being pushed badly but whatever I dont really want to talk about myself

I don't understand how voting for a lot of people can be scummy when you've got no team to protect and the only person you don't want lynched is yourself as scum (and town don't want to be lynched either, usually)

That's why saying somebody is voting a lot of people doesn't mean anything, there's no power roles either, trying to lynch someone isn't scummy

my approach to the game is that if we catch a scum somewhere, everyone will get excited and try and work out if that player was behaving in an unusual way in how they dealt with any given player, to try and make a case that there is a link between the 2 dudes, because that means we will catch the 2nd scum and win obviously.

So I am anticipating that scum will just ignore the otherscum for now, and consider lynching them later, reflecting upon the win cons:

Considering I thought I made this clear I'll state it here.
The town wins when the red and blue mafia goon are lynched.
The red/blue mafia goon win when they're the last one alive.
In the case the blue/red mafia goon are the last 2 alive the game ends in a draw

and the fact there is no night kill this means scum have to achieve 8 mislynches without getting caught - that's pretty tough!

when I _know_ there is a serial killer in the game, which is basically what this game is, I look for people who generally don't care who dies as their win con is just get rid of everyone...

day 1 is always relatively tough so I'm just approaching that as "people who are getting any wagon going"

not saying it will work, but it's a starting point to apply pressure in sensible places.

well in my PT I said it seemed ambitious to get so many mislynchs on your own with no nk's but I think wisdom had proven me wrong

the other thought was because you are not in a PT with the other scum dude (did I mention that? ) so I wasn't sure if we were going to work together - no sure if that is by design or maybe a change

I think I suggested maybe certain scum actions could give scum a bonus nk- like say if scum did the l-1 vote and hammer which could be risky and you don't necessarily have to etc etc

but then wisdom went and won proving scum didn't need any help so well done to you :p

I think the real point here - I didn't really know who I wanted to win - wisdom wasn't on my team, nor was town - so obviously you are a bit of a wanker if you ruin the game for everyone and I'd never do that but like I think I inserted some confusion over DLA or Dunn (Cant remember which)

I think there is a policy to this game - "we caught scum day 1 - he was informed of scum 2, so lets blindly lynch anyone he gave any kind of significant read on" - I reckon Wisdom would have been in there (I haven't checked)

Obviously as I said hindsight is a wonderful thing but I think this game could be unpicked via policy given you caught me sooo early.
