If I understood a main you made in this implosion that fake claiming should be used in a way that disrupts the setup speculation and gets town disarrayed with that, and I kind of think of it as the opposite, you fake claim to not mess up setup speculation because the setup speculation will naturally go sideways with most games you are just adding more noise to it and really make players think twice about what they do and do not know.
Players who use setup speculation to sort games tend to make more mistakes from my experience because they are relying on tools which I think are less reliable than scum-hunting tools.
