Unvote
I was thinking a little random vote wouldnt hurt anyone, but right now, I have found little evidence that donkey is at all scum.
I know, I could probably bandwagon Snix or Eldritch, but right now, I dont find either scummy enough to deserve my vote. So, I'll leave my vote open for now.I'm back.- Iron Man

Okay, yet again...I am going to have to go out on a limb here and say to everyone involved in this world war of text that IT IS JUST A GAME!!! ZombieSlayer, Eldritch, one word...chill. Both of you need to calm down. I'm not positive, but I think I speak for everyone when I say that having to read a freaking novel about why so and so is scummy every time I log on is kinda annoying.I'm back.- Iron Man

Hey, sorry for the lack of action. I was out of town for the weekend and away from the computer. Yes, my post count on this game has been severly lacking, it's just a little hard for me to read the huge novels you guys write and try to form an objective view on the situation. I will try to be more active on this thread in the future. Sorry. I'm currently reading through the past couple days of posting, and there is a ton, so it might take a little while before I jump into the fray.I'm back.- Iron Man

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one, Darla.
Granted, this may not be the best argument in the world, but, EL, I am starting to get the feeling that you got way to frustrated over little things, and this, to me, is pointing to you as scum.
Vote Eldritch Lord
Let's hope I'm right.I'm back.- Iron Man

Am here, just dont really have anything to contribute as of yet. The reason for this is that my scumhunting skills aren't exactly supreme and everyone else is looking really hard into what everyone else is saying, and this is kind of intimidating. I get the feeling that whenever I post, I'll say one little thing off cue, and then *BAM*, I'm lynched.I'm back.- Iron Man

I dont think a claim is in order. As already said by numerous people, a claim in thiss settup would be pointless. I dont think I need to repeat what everyone has alreday said though.
As for voting, I'm going toUnvotefor now. EL has cleared himself IMO, for now. I was initially running him for vote hopping and over defense, but the former is true for a lot of people here and the later has ended itself on his part.
I'm also going toFoS: dcorbeon the grounds for an insistancy for a role claim.I'm back.- Iron Man

Yes, that is what I mean. Also because of other arguments other people have already made.mike-zim wrote:
i take you mean this? I find it very opportunistic that you vote dcorbe straight after someone else has started to ask questions about their "scummyness".Iron Man wrote:I'm also going toFoS: dcorbeon the grounds for an insistancy for a role claim.
I wonder are you taking the oppertunity to vote and then disappear again (as if i can talk lol). Very suspicious
Opprotunistic, maybe, but who isnt? Suspicious? Depends on your point of view.- Iron Man

I'm seriously not getting how people are jumping me for "opprotunism"? I had a bit of a feeling that dcorbe was scum. So, I went out and threw a vote. An argument was being built, and I started a vote. At that point, dcorbe wasnt at L-1 or anything, so I'm not seeing any opprotunism here.
However, Mokina, hammering dcorbe just screams opprotunism. You start by saying that you arent going to hammer him and will wait for a few days for him to post a defence, then you hammer him a day later. This seems WAY more opprotunistic than what I did.I'm back.- Iron Man

Well, seeing as the main case against me is lurking, I'll just try to be more active. I wasnt trying to seem overly lurkish, but, I guess I was wrong. I would try to post a cas right now, but I dont really know how to repond to "Everyone vote Iron Man." without seeming OMGUS.
Maybe we need a lurker relief program? Like "Lurkers Anonymous."

Kay. Here's my read so far on everyone.
Eldritch- Nuetral, Heavy analysis. I dont think he's scum, but I have a few notches on him.
ZS- Highly emotional, partial tunnel vision at times. Probably not scum, just a little aggresive.
TSN- Very unsure about him right now. I havent been focusing on him to much throughout the game, but will do a re-read later for him.
Mokina- Not much, will post more after re-read.
Lowell-Feeling he is town. Havent noticed any major scumminess at all coming from him.
Darla- I'm reading town.
Donkey-Need more info, probably town.
Sidney- Also a lurker archtype. Wary.
So, right now my two biggest eyes are on Eldritch and TSN, with Mokina and ZS coming up next. This is probably due to a heavy spotlight on them during the beginning of the game, but it's how I'm reading. Those are my views for now. I'll post on a re-read within the next couple of days.I'm back.- Iron Man

Okay, maybe I miscommunicated. I had a bit of a feeling EL and TSN are scum. Mabey. I'm doing a re-read soon. I'm also wary of Sidney due to pretty much the same exact crime I'm about to be lnched for: lurking with posts with little value. Those were my suspects. I'll try to get a better idea after the re-read.I'm back.- Iron Man

I agree with what people have said above. Granted, as play continues a person, a person's view on another person will change, but, DBE, you have done a bit of flip flopping throughout the game. So,FoSDarlaBlueEyes.
I'm too lazy to go back and cite original texts, but at different times you've stated that you thought I was scum and was going to post a full analysis on me (which never came), then later you thought I wasnt scum.
I also think that you have a small case of tunnel vision for Mokina here.I'm back.- Iron Man

TSN, I'm not getting how you think that donkey is aggresive? Donkey has, so far, been level and fairly inconspicious. Now, if you were going to try to puh a lynch based purely on aggression, did you miss the D1 EL/ZS arguement? Were you taking a nap or something? That argument was probably the most aggressive event this entire game. Granted, I dont really think ZS is scum, I just think that you are kinda throwing at the wrong catcher on this.

I see where your coming from by saying that each game should be treated as a seperate entity, but I agree with the others in that if you know that such and such player has a certain scumtell or towntell unique to that player, then it should be looked at. Say Jonny Q always vote hops Day 1 when he is town in other games, then that should be looked for when playing new games with him. Granted, Johhny Q may become aware of this and use it to his advantage, but it always good to look at a persons playstyle and use it to read them better.ZombieSlayer54 wrote:On the semi-current meta debate:
I whole heartedly say that meta is never good. Make your decisions based on how the person plays in that game. Not how they play in others. Every game should be considered a completely separate entity from every other game, because, for all intents and purposes, it is.
I always need to say that whenever meta comes up.
Dun use it people. Seriously.
Oh, and this theory conversation is a little confusing, but I like the plan armlx.I'm back.- Iron Man

@TSN
You know, you seem to be hopping quite a lot lately. Just a little while ago, you were pushing heavily for my lynch based almost soley on lurking. Now you're pushing donkey. Granted, I would say that scum would try to get a more active or influential player lnched, but seeing as it'll be hard to get that ball rolling, it looks like you're pushing a quick lynch on an easy player.I'm back.- Iron Man

In no way does this justify your actions. The fact is, you are self aware of your play style. Thus, if you are scum, you can just use the same playstyle and blame meta. I'm not liking this TSN.TheSweatpantsNinja wrote:

I concede your point to my bandwagoning during Day 1, but so far, you'll notice that I havent bandwagoned anyone during Day 2. Also, starting bandwagons isn't nessecarily scummy, just a little dangerous. When a situation hasnt been fully fleshed out and you're yelling "DONT THINK, JUST LYNCH!", townies get quick lynched when your mentallity is supported. And everyone knows that a quick lynch is scummy.I'm back.- Iron Man

Kinda random. Granted, Lowell isnt exactly the towniest player in the game, you could try to at least find a few actions that show off as scum. Like this one...donkeyz12212 wrote:Vote: Lowell
I think he's scum. Basically it.
DBE stop gunning for me yeesh. I'm already confirmed town psh.
This seems a little...off, IMO.Lowell wrote:DBE wrote:

I'm not defending EL in any way. I'm just saying that since he held so much attention, not much could be brought onto you. Now that he is dead, people can begin to focus more on otehr people. Like you.
And you know what, I'm just not getting the good old pro-town vides from this guy.
